The kickoff rules are really good.
I'm sick of balls being kicked out of the end zone in the NFL.

I saw some of the first half, consider me impressed with the flow and rules so far. NFL could adapt these kickoff rules to help on injuries instead of eliminating them.

Seems like a lot of the old school run and shoot minds are coaches(Gilbride,June Jones,Mike Riley)
Could be a bombs away type league if the o lines are somewhat functional

Just saw Eric Dungey is on the Dallas Renegades. Damn it. Now I have to root for a Dallas team? Damn it.
Might start game 1 too. Landry Jones was the #1 selection in the draft but he was hurt.
He will show Giants fans what could have been.

With Yankee baseball right around the corner, and the Islanders making a playoff push, I'm not. The Islanders are making a playoff push? They're completely underwhelming expectations from last year. If the season ended today they'd be in. Hopefully the rookie Bellows who was just brought up and scored two goals against the Stars the other night will provide an offensive spark that they desperately need to improve on their lack of goal scoring.

Gilbride has twice had a semi wishbone in shotgun style formation...
*cues the "why didnt we do this with Jacob's and Bradshaw*
They look crisp . 11 out of shotgun mostly NY team has Joe Horn's son

I can get behind this product if it remains like this. I've enjoyed the games this weekend. Even the fans at the game look like their really into it.. Greg Olsen is excellent in the booth also... he's gonna transition seamlessly when he retires.

McGloin playing like the XFL MVP and the Giants should look at Colby Pearson at WR.

McGloin may be the best QB in the XFL.
He looks good.

NY looks to have a good team. I seriously hope the league doesn't fold before the Guardians are crowned champions.

McGloin for Giants back-up QB He has no arm strength. Every deep ball he threw was well short.

I watched, Thought it was entertaining. Im not sure what is so "Xtreme" about it though. It felt less extreme than the Alliance to be honest. The PAT tries were interesting. I'm undecided on how I feel about the kickoffs. Also being in the booth during official replay reviews is kind of pointless. I like that they have a shorter time to make a decision but dont really need to "see how the sausage is made" as one commentator put it. My big question is do I root for the NY team or use the opportunity to root for someone else. Unlike others opinions, I think it's less interesting that all but 1 team are from cities with an NFL team. I was thinking of rooting for St. Louis

Wow. Pepper Johnson must not be a good coach at all.
Fired from the LA Wildcats 1 week into the season. He was their DC. They got smoked by Houston.
