Anyone know how this works? I know players in the XFL are signed for the year and can not be brought up to an NFL team mid season, but what if a great young talented player emerges in the XFL? Does he go into the draft pool? Or is he considered a FA who can sign anywhere?
Also, the XFL is already stating it could bring in kids earlier than the NFL allows, meaning it can pull kids straight from High School or 1 year in college. This would then result in a plethora of 1 and dones in college football to the XFL where they dont have to worry about school rules. Then how would those kids get drafted?
Interesting to think where this could go.

Seems like they'd be free agents if they're xfl contract was up.
They wouldn't be drafted.

I may be wrong but. I would think an NFL team cannot draft them. More like buy the XFL players contract. That cost would go against the NFL teams cap.
