Kinda on the slowing side though for a top 40 pick at his position, and will probably incur injuries with his style of play like Nick's, Meaning he probably loses his ability to get seperation sooner than later because of this, thus becoming ineffective quickly.
Not my favorite of this group to be honest

The 40 is gonna be big for this kid next week if he runs good it will shoot him up boards.

He was incredibly fun to watch. Colorado put him everywhere on the field. Inside, outside, RB, wildcat QB, etc. He could be used very similar to how SF utilized Deebo Samuel. He’s a nightmare to bring down when he has the ball in his hands. I think he has some polishing he needs to do and may not run the fastest, but I’d seriously consider him if he was there in the second round. That is depending on what we do in FA and who’s on the board, because there are a ton of good WRs this year, but I could see him falling to a place where a team gets a really good value pick in him

Nicks clocked in 4.7 / 4.8 Manningham 4.6 thats why those careers were short no step to lose next step was done. His 40 is gonna help or hurt him a lot.

Nicks didn’t need much separation and like Shenault he was not easy to bring down when he caught the ball. The thing Nicks had going for him though was incredible hands and a pretty ridiculous catch radius it seemed. Shenault should watch a lot of Larry Fitz tape. On a side note it’s a shame Nicks couldn’t stay healthy. His feet just broke down and he was always battling something. One of my favorite players ever, it’s a shame his career got cut short due to injuries Manningham was an interesting player. He’d look incredible at times and then there were times he’d drive you crazy. When he was on he was a fun player to watch. I loved that WR trio of Nicks, Cruz, and Manningham.

Nicks gave you everything man, competitor. I was at that game when he was abusing Talib when he was with Tampa that is where it started Talib stepped on the back of his foot ankle and he was never the same. Manningham had that short area quickness and Nicks for his size was really good coming out of breaks. Fun crew to watch and explosive lol without a burner in the bunch not even Cruz he was fast at 4.48 compared to the other 2.

With the right OC and using him as a 3 or 4 and getting him open in space he could be pretty good. Maybe once he learns how to get open with quickness and precise route running he will move up the ladder.

We saw how both the Chiefs and 49ers intimidated defenses with speed(Deebo runs ansub 4.40 and Sanders still has sub 4.45 speed, and we saw what the Cheifs guys did with their speed)which allowed vast amounts of room in the middle of the field and the running game, Other than a rare outleir type team (Titans)its all about having speed, big plays, basketball on grass, opening up RPO and interior A gap runs. I don't want this team to even look at anyone that is slow..

I’d rather have a burner. Keep defenses vertical and horizontal. That would open up Engram and Barkley as the youngsters on the outside develop.
I don’t think Shenault or Higgins survive Dougie Ps pick in philly or Billy B in New England.

Who ever drafts him needs to wait I agree I want speed every where right now the only speed we have is Barkely and Slayton and EE for a tightend we need more in the WR core. they also need a big red zone receiver, just as or more important than speed. Why Who says we need a big bodied plodder Did you not watch the super bowl? Who was this mythical "big bodied red zone target" oh wait, the TEs do this Im sick of a segment of this fan base stuck in an ancient Dogma of how to build this team. The concept of a big "possession reciever " is outdated, because your giving up one of your playmakers on passing plays.. Modern NFL Speed speed speed... It's what won a super bowl this past year and the 2 fastest offenses via next Gen stats played in the super bowl You want a big red zone target Draft Colby Parkinson day 3 to eventually replace Engram, and we have 6'6 Kaden Smith and 6'7 Parkinson to be the big guys to do the possession box out stuff and hit big plays down the middle If he runs over 4.5 keep him away from this team

The Demayius Thomas’, Dez Bryant’s, and Alshon Jeffriey’s of the world are becoming extinct. And with good reason. DK Metcalf is an outlier with his 4.33 speed. I’ll be keying in on Shenaults 40 and shuttle drill. I’ll change my opinion if the rubber meets the road.

Big difference between WR and TE,the position those 2 guys play I was referring to pass catching production.. Again Big difference TEs aren't expected to be the vertical game and often thrive when there are dynamic outside guys We are talking about the WRs and specifically outside guys and even the slot guys.

He looks like a 4.55 guy to me. Looks very smooth for a big man. There are a bunch of guys in this draft that would be surefire first rounders in any other draft. Will be interesting to see who picks based on need and allows the talent to drop. I keep seeing mock drafters putting need way over talent.

But, since you brought it up: Witten ran 4.55 and Kelce was right at 4.6 if memory serves. They’re both over 6’5 and 265 lbs.... 265 lbs! Lightening fast for their size and position. Shenault is 6’2 220 for “comparison” sake.
