That didn’t take long.
Something seems to have happened to that guy, or maybe it was his attitude that led him to become a FA in the first place.

Or he was simply a cap casualty. It is kind of strange, but Harrison's numbers against the run were still good on that very bad team. There are a lot of changes going on in Detroit. They might actually be trading Stafford and Slay. Just like us, they had a real good look at cleaning house in their front office and at HC. Just like us, they half-assed the process of cleaning house. |

So far, the only guy DG cut that I would have liked to keep is okwara.....and I blame Betcher for that crap for wanting to bring in his own bums..
We could have reunited the okwara boys in the 2nd round........smh

A lot of money to pay a guy who plays 35% of the snaps. Even if his attitude is great. Likely the same reason he was traded there in the first place. |

Kennard would have been cool to keep. Would have made sense in our scheme change when Shurmur came in. And he's been productive with the Lions.

IMO, the record tells me that the moves didn't work out for either sides of the trades. Apple didn't help the Saints get to the SB and Harrison did not move the needle for the Lions. Meanwhile here in NYG, we in essence paid a backup QB a fortune last year, paid several players a grip of dead money, and we are still finishing near the top of the draft. Don't get me started on the Leonard Williams trade. I refuse to give Gettleman ANY credit whatsoever until I see it in the standings. |

The Donald pick would have just been significantly better. The Martin one would have been better too considering that our oline has been a mess for over a decade now. |

Kennard was kind of an unknown at the time. Could have easily been a a back up type player for the Lions. He stepped up somewhat.

Harrison never became one of the highest paid players. He played ok for all of his teams. He is just a two down player. Players like that never get the big money deals. Haynesworth was really good before he got his contract. After he got paid, he morphed into William Joseph and stopped grinding. It was arguably the worst FA contract in NFL history. |

He has 17 sacks in 6 years. He also had 29 tackles and 1 sack this past season, with 12 QB hits. I hope that his mentorship sessions with Richard Seymour, who is also an excellent poker player, rubs off on him. I will wait for your rebuttal which I hope has statistics that back up your argument against mine. |

Leonard Williams plays all three downs and does provide pass rush he doesn't get tons of sacks but he gets back there and moves the pocket. Snacks was a 2 down player at best. |
