The problem is he was good against the run in a small area. When he was here teams just ran where he wasn't and on passing downs he was off the field 9mill a year for a par -time player a real good at what he does but part-time none the less. I absolutely agree that a one trick pony like Harrison isn't worth a big payday. Big money players on defense should be playing every down. Aaron Donald, who I have pegged as the best player I've seen on defense the last 15 years, is worth every single penny. I still wish we would have drafted him instead of Beckham Jr. This is why I don’t want Williams..will be way overpaid for what we get in return

Most FAs are over paid(the nature of the NFL) and Williams is a better and more versatile player than Snacks. I get a the caution surrounding Williams but I also think he can be more than just a solid addition to this D. The Giants are in the position with him to have to make decisions that can have negative ramifications either way they go. But he is just one piece and one decision. All teams have situations like this at one time or another.

That is your opinion, but I have the stats to back up my argument. He has 17 sacks in 6 years. He also had 29 tackles and 1 sack this past season, with 12 QB hits. I hope that his mentorship sessions with Richard Seymour, who is also an excellent poker player, rubs off on him. I will wait for your rebuttal which I hope has statistics that back up your argument against mine. No, I watch football, I have little use for statistics that tell you little of what is actually happening. If you think he is one dimensional, that's fine keep thinking it.

We could have reunited the okwara boys in the 2nd round........smh Apple should have stayed too Apple quit multiple times on the field. It was so evident a fan sitting in the nosebleeds could of seen it. He was just not mentally strong enough to play in this market. Also, he’s a mommas boy.. The drafting of Flowers and Apple back to back sealed the faith of Jerry Reese. We did the right thing by parting with Apple. The talent is clearly there, but not worth it.

Vernon expected to be released. Gettleman killing it with these trades. Let’s talk about pulling in 3 players by trading a second-tier WR.

We all know the Giants have been a dumpster fire have been but its definitely a positive that almost every player the Giants have traded has been cut or will be cut. It shows the Giants have at least been half right about getting rid of old, unproductive or disruptive players.... Now, we need another draft to hit home and a good free agency and hopefully the Giants have a bounce back year after years of being pathetic...
