Can't say I'd be pissed if we sign him, but I'd rather pass. If we go OL in FA, go after a Center. OT in the draft.

Because nobody else is tampering You have every agent and every GM in Indy.... 75% of your first 3 days of signings in the "tampering period " and trades are made during the combines... Always has.. This 3 day "legal tampering " period is only to publicly announce deals negotiated during the combines

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports impending free agent RT Jack Conklin is not expected to sign with the Jets. This refutes Mike Florio's earlier report that Conklin was expected to land with New York. The Jets are obviously desperate for help in their trenches since both Kelvin Beachum and Brandon Shell are likely to walk in free agency, but Conklin's spurning moves the organization back to square one. The Browns have also been linked to the 25-year-old this offseason. www.rotoworld.com/football/nfl/player-news/headlines/9579451

Damn, the media is out of control

We do not need an expensive RT that can not pass block effectively.

At this point I'll settle for just taking one of these fab 4 O linemen because if he takes a high risk player like Simmons or overdrafts at corner and passes on any of those 4 he officially loses me because all of his preaching about hog mollies and needing to dominate the LOS has turned out to be a line of bullshit and we probably castrate Jones from being as good as he could be here because he will never have a good line in front of him

If he was good in all aspects of his game I could live with it. He is an old school run blocking RT that has to play for a team that doesn't throw it more than 20 times a game ever or he is badly exposed

What he is , a failed LT that was down graded to the right side. There is a reason Lewan was almost immediately placed back at LT when Conklin was given that job.

For that money. If the LT gets injured. He better be able to play there.

That is not that case with RTs moving to the left.

OK then give me Daryl Williams from the Panthers instead who is more versatile anyway. Yeah he coming off a serious Knee Injury but hell so was Conklin
Not sure why Williams not being talked about more, Gettleman drafted him when he was with the Panthers so he is very familiar with him
