Martinez is just the kind of solid vet we need on our defense. It's a good signing. I disagree with you on Bradbury. He's a heck of a cover corner. They are worth a lot and he was paid accordingly.
And he also found time to write all those science fiction books.
I think Bradberry is a good player, I disagree that we should spend $15m on a CB at this time though. Get me a pass rusher and OLmen 1st. Have you seen Bradbury's numbers against top WR's? He shuts down the best WR's in the NFL.
At worst....he's Corey Webster in his prime.

There usually is a good reason like Brian Bolagia he's a bit old and has been having injuries. Teams don't let good tackles or pass rushers go in free agency in there prime for no reason usually they are old or injury prone or a head case. good players at critical positions don't usually get to free agency there is times like with the cowboys they have drafted really well and had to let Jones get to market couldn't afford him. Or sometimes teams screw up their cap. Right, but that entire idea is that you can find good players in free agency. We shouldn't ignore free agents just because "they were let go for a reason". Some times teams just don't know what the hell they have in a player. Look at Shaq Barrett for instance. Sometimes a player just does not fit what a team is doing or they need a change, look at Flowers.
All I am saying is we must rely on the draft AND free agency, even if another team let a player go.

I don't have the medical the teams do and inside scoop they figure that out hopefully.

Sadly there isn't much pass rush help out there this year. i liked the Fackrell signing, i think hell be just as productive as golden was if not better. He had his best year with graham as his lb coach.

He had his best year with graham as his lb coach. I hope he is very productive. Here is the thing though. If he matches his best season ever then he will simply be as productive as Golden was. That does not improve our pass rush, that keeps us where we were last year. I would prefer to have Golden and ADD Fackrell. That raises our ability instead of being stagnant.

if they would have signed him then many would have cried Littleton can’t tackle! It’s all just comedy gold. Well he was 8th in the league in tackling so that would be a dumb thing to say lol. But yes people will complain no matter what. I'm less concerned about LB and much more concern about the OL at this point. We need to get someone either C or OT signed other wise we will be chasing it in the draft. Mike I believe you hit the answer. " The Draft ". I really can't see any other avenue at this time than a OT at the #4 pick. Or even if we trade back anywhere in the top 10 picks. The 2nd rd now is where I hope we go Center but I think it could also be WR. Be nice if we could get two 2nd rd picks or Gadzooks even another 1st rd pick. We then have positions of need turned into future strengths.
Well that's my wish list anyway.

Unless we get a mid 1st rd pick somehow don't see us going pass rush in the draft.

We did sign an OT today so I think the 1st round is still open. As DG has said since day 1, he likes to go into the draft with no holes that "must" be filled so he can target talent and not positions.
If he loves one of these OTs he will for sure take them though. No doubt about that. It's nice to have options though in case Young falls or we love Simmons or we get a great trade back offer. Have to be flexible.

I agree. You know I am not a fan of Simmons. I am sure it will be him, Young or one of the OTs
