Kendall Coleman in then 7th? I pick Kendall Coleman in almost every 7th round. I think these guys do the same fanspeak we do, with GM ability...do some trades, give a quick generic what they like about them and have an article. Personally, I like ours on this board.

I'd be a fan. My crush this NFL draft is Mims from Baylor. So, I'd love to see us get him in the 2nd/3rd, or perhaps late 1st if we trade back with the Phins.
However, this draft is pretty damn nice.
Wills is my favorite RT prospect to this point. The idea of having BOTH Murray and Baun is absurd. I'd be ecstatic if we end up with either, but both would damn near solidify our entire defense. Beyond that, I haven't done enough research yet, but I like the positions. We need a FS, we need another WR, and we need depth on the OL and on defense.
I'd be a fan.

I like the LB combo - other than that no.
50-50 chance Wills ends up as a guard in the NFL.

that would be a very good haul for rounds 1 - 3, fill a lot of holes with good prospects.

Like it all except the safety. Not against a safety here, just not a fan of his play.

I'm with you on the FS, but I simply don't know if there's one worth a 2nd round grade? I honestly haven't done a ton of draft research yet....been trying to hold off as long as possible. My thoughts going into FA were we'd walk out with a bonafide CB and a top FS to solidify our secondary, but we haven't addressed FS. I assume we do so in the draft, but....is there one worth a 2nd rounder? Better than a top notch LB/WR/OT (if we don't go OT in rd.1)?

Wills is not my favorite of the OTs but might be the only one left at 12. Tough to see the best move without knowing the other options.
If we ended up with Wills, Murray, Baun and Biadsz I would not be able to complain. Heck of a draft there. Some of the other pieces probably wouldn't be my pick, but tough to tell.

Personally, I rate Thomas the best of the 4, with Wirfs as my #2. If the Giants see it differently, I do get it, they have a ton more experience rating players, and probably watched exponentially more tape than I have. Likewise if they pick Simmons over any of them.

Likewise if they pick Simmons over any of them. I agree. I have gone back and forth and Thomas has been at or near the top for me consistently. I think Thomas, Becton, Wirfs, Wills; but have Simmons above all of them. I am with you though which ever direction they go I can't bitch too much because what do I really know. Also the interviews have to play a major role. Maybe they interviewed Thomas and he is a moron that doesn't know the ins and outs, I as a fan would never know.
We should end up with a great player at 4 though (or a trade back for more picks and still a great player).

What part of Wills game you having trouble with? I was going to ask Bravobeast the same. I'm curious to know what folks don't like, or what makes him a better OG. I don't watch much OL film, but I was immediately impressed with how well Wills moved. His technique looked to be flawless.....always seems to be balanced, doesn't reach, compact and precise hand placement, etc. At 320lbs, he looked like the dancing bear you want at OT. As mentioned numerous times, I will very happy with any of the Fab4. It's a 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d type thing. Wills' technique just seemed to be at a different level, and it looked effortless. At least in my opinion.
