Its incredibly similar to this class.
Do we go big and go home with the monster like the Rams did with Greg Robinson (Becton)?
Or act like the Falcons and take Jake Matthews (Wills), the "technician" as Zeurlein has called them both?
Or do we go a Titan route and take Taylor Lewan (Wirfs), the athletic tackle of the bunch?
Or do we pull a Cowboys and get the best of the bunch, with the stud, only true LT, that can play anywhere on the line in Zach Martin (Thomas)?
Thats the way I found it similar.

I like Thomas, would be ok with Wirfs or Wills. I have reservations about Becton, even if he is a beast. He's a bit raw for my tastes picking where we are. As I've said before, if he ends up being the Giants pick, I'm ok with it. Just my hunch but they have probably watch a touch more film than me...

Pretty good class and pretty good comparisons I thought. Out of the 2014 class I like Taylor Lewan the best, so does that put me in the Wirfs camp ? With that said I do think the most talented player is Zack Martin. But I want a OT not a Guard.
I'm leaning toward Thomas. Just cause we know he can play the left side. Next year I assume he slides over in place of Solder. And then it's easier to pick up a RT than a left next year. Or if we pick up a LT we keep Thomas on the right. It just seems a real nice fit for us.
Thomas LT, Wirfs could transition to Guard, Wills has only played RT even though that was Tua's blind side at Bama. Most think he can transition to the left side. Becton is the biggest project, this brings up memories of Flowers. I don't want it. Let somebody else put in the work. Though that run blocking is awful tempting. The TE will be important to him in pass blocking on a speed rusher. I think the 3-4 defense exposes him badley. Just my opinion haven't read it anywhere.

If we draft one of them. It will fill a big hole in the line. Even though Cam has been signed . He is only an insurance policy for a season.

I actually think the floor of this class is higher Robinson i think was only a starter for one year...Becton already is ahead of him fundamentally...
Very good comparison...3 of the 4 teams are set for life....2 at tackle and Martin played where he was needed...

Me thinks Tyron Smith was the only thing standing in the way of Martin playing LT. Needless to say, theyre lucky to have both. Nah Martin was always going to be a OG in the NFL. I still wanted him to be our pick back then though. Too bad we went with the "luxury pick" (I think I did it right haha).
With that said in this draft I want Thomas or Becton. Both are monsters. Becton gives me a little fear just because sometimes guys that big fail and it has nothing to do with them. Thomas is the safer of the two but Becton has the higher ceiling IMO. Would love either guy though.
