When asked about playing LT vs RT "It kinda feels like wiping your butt with your other hand. It just feels a little awkward at first, but you get used to it.” LMAO he just moved up to OT #1 for me.
He also said he will play Safety if we want, so I'm not sure we know what position he really plays

No I don’t like it. I could try to do that for the next 15 years and I don’t think it would ever be a smooth or natural evolution. Pass. 😎

I don't trust what these guys say: I trust the film.
If I didn't see you doing it well on the field? You can't do it.

Ereck Flowers had no problem playing an unfamiliar position so I'm sure Wirfs can do it.

How much do you trust yourself when viewing film? As I’ve said on here before, when posters refer to “watching film”, 99.9% of the time they are referring to watching 2 minutes of a slickly-produced You Tube highlight clip.

What if Wirfs is wrong about the whole wiping thing?
I’m going to have to go with the elbow bump if I run into Wirfs.

Fbomb’s DJ video is a good example. I like the kid and I am excited. However, you could just as easily have made a “DJ is a turd” compilation. With college kids it usually supports a narrative or it’s a highlight video. If someone has good links to video that includes good, bad and otherwise it would be cool to see those links. That’s why the OL guys scare me. More honest video, but just seems harder to gauge. Very rarely are they hyped as sure things. I think the last one was Quentin Nelson and he is a beast. Nobody in this draft is hyped like that.

I like to see a player's Pop Warner highlights before making any judgement.

Maybe he is really a Safety? So that means .......... one less position for Simmons to play, right?Well no we don't have Flowers anymore. So Simmons will have to play S, CB, LB, RB, OT, CB and nose tackle.

Nobody in this draft is hyped like that. The good news for us (presumably) is that despite our board member's lack of good tape to watch, Onlinemen have high hit rates compared to other positions in every round. If I remember correctly, they have the highest hit rates. Generally, safer picks. I really hope we can trade back and get one of these Fab Four. If we stay where we are and the Giants have Simmons rated significantly higher than anyone else and we take him, I can live with it but I'll feel better if it turns out they're all closely rated and we get an OT. As we all know, my feelings are what are important here.

"Hey watch these highlights! This guy is great!" Yeah, they are called highlights for a reason. Now lets watch the low lights. Lets watch the plays he isnt involved in and see his hustle. Ect. I wouldnt say 99.9%. I think thats probably too high. There are a bunch of us on here that do look at complete film.

I just know if he looks like crap or looks good in my eyes, but those fine details are way beyond me to spot.

When you say "film" are you talking about the TV replays of games or actual coach's film?

Yeah unless you have the all 22 and can see every step in detail, its hard to know for sure. When I watch the tape on guys, I do use Youtube but it is labeled as "Every snap" or "full game plays" or something. I try to avoid the highlight packages until we actually draft them :-) Last year for example, I watched about 6 or 7 of the Daniel Jones games, every pass, in those games. Probably only a couple though before we drafted him. I did that on all the QBs. This year, Im looking more at the Olinemen which is tougher to dissect, but you can get some ideas. Also, looking at some pass rushers full film, including Simmons. Guys like Weaver Okwara and YGM since I didnt know much about them before. I enjoy it.

Actually game footage which doesnt show everything. Although, there are some videos on Youtube that show and dissect the All22s which is nice. I dont have access to that.

I honestly would probably watch highlight films as well but every single one of them as some kind of crap rap music to it. Now keep in mind I actually enjoy rap, but the highlight video rap is just trash. Plus I like the sounds of the game. Although with Jones I watched all of his games and most of his Jr year games as well, but I was thinking he would be our pick in November. This year it was more up in the air with the Young chase, the OT talent, Okudah and Simmons and WRs. Man nice draft class.
I didn't watch too much on the pass rushers this year so I look forward to having to play catch up on which ever guy we draft. Watched a lot of OL, LB and WR though. OL is just so hard to tell which guy actually has to makings of an NFL stud though. They all look pretty good to me.

I'm still a noob but I stopped watching highlight vids b/c they all look like superstars. Come on, some of these 7th rounders look like 1st rounders. I've been watching more All22 vids now but I still don't know jack.

I don't care if they watched every play for different angles, unless you played or coached on the college level your opinion about the ability of an offensive lineman is worthless.

I watch actual games.. Tells more a story... Which is why I'm so mystified how Thomas is now seen as the 4th best tackle and out of the top.10 with many analysts...
And why so few are high on Chaisson (who I watched wreck more games last year than Simmons)
Or how KJ Hill has a 4th-5th round grade .(even in such a stacked WR class he should be no lower than a 2nd round guy)
Or how Colby Parkinson isn't a day 2 prospect
All players i watched produce at a high level every time I watched
You get to see the good and bad.. I saw Wirfs dominate guys..i saw him get owned by Uche(which put him on my map) I'm sure front offices have a lot more than what we get to see..
