He's in the last year of his rookie deal I'm A huge fan of his He really picked up his game last year and is a valuable piece of our Dline going forward ...Big decision for Gettleman to sign him before he hits free agency because he will command a pretty good buck He's in his prime and only 26.I say sign him now! ….Thoughts?

I'm a big fan of his too. Terrific player. IMO it will depend on who does better him or Williams. They won't be paying both of them long term so they will have to see who they want going forward this year and pay that guy. The other guy will walk.

Absolutely. Once the draft is over and we see how things look, I'm sure they'll work out something.

Big DT fan think they will get him done or should say hope. Gettlemen kind of guy smart big and strong picked up his game once Williams came on the seen think they might try to keep Him Dexter and Williams together depending on what the cap does. Think Gettlemen mentioned DT when speaking of guys they will need money to extend.

He has picked up his game every season and has been an unsung hero. He deserves a nice contract and will be a vital piece of our DL moving forward. I feel like DT, Lawrence, Williams and Hill are a good core to build around

There’s no rush to sign him. Let’s see how he does this year and see how Judge will use/view him. That being said, players like Dalvin aren’t commanding great money. They should be able to sign him near $5 mil a year or so. As long as they view him as a starter and can use his skill set....he’s worth that money.

If he is improving like he has been each and every year, there's no way in hell we can get him for 5 mill a year...I would say double that

We have a lot of cap room next year for big guaranteed money One major reason to get one of the OTs and another receiver is you also delete at least $25 million of dead weight from the cap..those 2 cuts fund these 2 guys... Keep the D line intact for 5 years or more and let them grow together

Looks like Williams is demanding more than what we want to give him at this time, and Tomlinson will also command a pretty good buck..Thinking maybe too much for both players contracts combined....Don't get me wrong would love to have both for years to come

No sacks " Them bitch when our D line gets pushed back by teams with O lines worse than ours on every running play 4 yards and we give up.180 on the ground a game(then blame the linebackers who are getting mauled by free Gs on every play)

Not sure I'd extend him prior to this season, but he's a very good player, and someone I would like to see get a 2nd contract here.

We can but we likely will not. That would be way too much money to put into the DL. It would be different if these guys were Strahan, Osi, Tuck, JPP type players but they're not.

He’s been a solid player since he was drafted out of Alabama. All the focus around here seems to be at Williams, but Tomlinson has been a very good player for us. I would extend him and let Williams walk after this year. Tomlinson can play over the center and play the 2 tech.
And to the fans who want to pay both, bad idea. Let’s start focusing on edge rushers, the position we still have a glaring weakness. Depending on the draft, we need to start to invest heavily into.

Im a big fan of his but I think it depends on two things, 1) How does he work within Graham system and will he be a contributor on 3rd down and 2) How does L Williams play this season. I could realistically see DG (if hes even still here) letting Tomlinson walk if Williams has a good year.

Either Lawrence picks up his play as a soph or someone else needs to stop the run, OR PAY THE MAN!!!

DJ Reader Signed a 4 year $53 million contract with Cincinnati, averaging $13 million a year.

Dalvin Tomlinson is the Giants highest graded player on defense for 2019 with a 78.1 overall grade.
That ranks 11th among all interior DL with at least 500 snaps and makes his 3rd consecutive season grading above 78 overall

If we draft Brown. Williams will be untagged or Thomlinson will be dealt.

Tomlinson is a good player on a team needing good players so what's the problem with resigning him, its not as if we had a ton of good players on this team and could afford to be choosey..

If we draft Brown. Williams will be untagged or Thomlinson will be dealt. Although he would likely be a superior player on a rookie contract, I just cannot fathom the team passing on other positions of dire need this draft. The current defensive front seems like the strongest unit on either side of the ball. Even with the limited sacks, and do even the best 3-4 DTs really consistently generate a significant number of these?
