We WERE a pass heavy team. We were a balanced team in pre-season. The ones couldn't move the ball much, but the two's and three's were very run heavy. When Lauletta was on the field, they ran more. With Webb, they let him air it out and hang himself (so to speak). Eli will not be having 40+ attempt games unless the other team sucks...and even then, I would hope he sits for lauletta in blow outs. You can't be pass first when your starting QB is 37......However, we have a lot of mouths to feed on offense. I agree completely, the Saints have shown as much. I question the offensive mouths to feed. How many are there really? Beckham and Barkley. Sure there are some other nice players but hardly top 10 talent that must be fed. Shepard, Engram, Latimer really? There will be plenty of leftovers for those kids but no one is cooking specifically of them Idk, Engram is a dynamic weapon and a mismatch at TE. Shep is a solid possession receiver and while he may not be great, he offers another strong target even after teams have to plan for Odell Barkley and Engram. That should present matchup nightmares for defenses.

You guys are acting like it's a nor'easter with snow and 40 mph winds coming through. Eli has played in the rain before and played well.He has also had a clunker or 2.Pretty much like his entire career. The rain actually helps the passing game because the receivers know when they are making their cuts while the d backs slip when having to recover and think where the receivers are headed. Not that big a deal Agree. Early in Eli's career, it seemed his game was much more susceptable to horrid weather and especially wind. Eli is still Eli, but he seems to be OK in pretty crappy rain these days.

On the busiest day of the year for this new board you should be on duty as a mod, not playing golf....shows how much you don't care and are only in it for the money. I'll be at the HOOT on the Hudson in Cold Spring. I'm not even gonna see the game until I get home that night. And I think we long ago established I was only in it for the money, so there's that. This place is falling apart at the seams before the season even gets rolling. Damn millenials....

It's time to pull for Atlanta right now. I have Atlanta in pretty much all my bets from money line to a teaser getting +9.5, I think their D swarms the Philly offense with all its injuries. Eagles best chance is to try going big and use their TEs in the passing game and try bounding Ajayi and Clemons, but I think the Falcons prevail 24-13.

I left this game out on my Fanduel play this week, but I hope they get destroyed by Atlanta. EDIT, oh well.

Cracks me up fans worried about the weather, nothing you can do about it. As long as it doesn't rain on my TV, I'm pumped!

High 60s and rainy. Temperature in the tri-state area hasn't dropped that low all summer. Really hoping the weather shifts before Sunday. If this is a rainy, run-heavy game, we might be in trouble. I have no confidence in our OL's ability to control the line of scrimmage. I am thinking, if it is that annoying cold wet, we are a NY team, our weather, Florida team, may be a bit unnerved by the cold first thing?? our edge!

If this turns into running game, we are good at stopping the run and we have Barkley. That's 2 pluses.
