High 60s and rainy. Temperature in the tri-state area hasn't dropped that low all summer.
Really hoping the weather shifts before Sunday. If this is a rainy, run-heavy game, we might be in trouble. I have no confidence in our OL's ability to control the line of scrimmage.

I would say that benefits us more but Jags have a good running game.
Not sure about their OL

We are a pass-heavy team with a great group of threats, and the rain will mitigate that. Our OL has been brutal this preseason, and we have only seen Barkley run a handful of times.

You almost don't need them anymore. but some of the weather women are starting look fine these days, and I continue to view for this reason.

I would say that benefits us more but Jags have a good running game. Not sure about their OL Doesn’t help us. We need Bortles throwing the ball as much as possible to win. Giants O needs to be able to get the ball to Odell and Barkley in space and hope they can make some big plays. Not going to be able to control the LoS on O. Jags OL is better than last year so Giants will be selling out to stop Fournette. Bortles should not be respected. Bortles will make some runs but should struggle throwing as he always does. Get him throwing some crossing routes...he is always 2 yards behind his receivers and can’t lead them

After Beckham and Barkley I don't see great at all. And Barkley's a rookie so great could well be premature

We WERE a pass heavy team. We were a balanced team in pre-season. The ones couldn't move the ball much, but the two's and three's were very run heavy. When Lauletta was on the field, they ran more. With Webb, they let him air it out and hang himself (so to speak). Eli will not be having 40+ attempt games unless the other team sucks...and even then, I would hope he sits for lauletta in blow outs. You can't be pass first when your starting QB is 37......However, we have a lot of mouths to feed on offense.

I question the offensive mouths to feed. How many are there really? Beckham and Barkley. Sure there are some other nice players but hardly top 10 talent that must be fed. Shepard, Engram, Latimer really? There will be plenty of leftovers for those kids but no one is cooking specifically of them

You guys are acting like it's a nor'easter with snow and 40 mph winds coming through. Eli has played in the rain before and played well.He has also had a clunker or 2.Pretty much like his entire career. The rain actually helps the passing game because the receivers know when they are making their cuts while the d backs slip when having to recover and think where the receivers are headed. Not that big a deal

Before I read this I was worried about the high temperatures causing players to cramp up...60's is good but without the rain

Not that big a deal I agree with this. There's a chance to move the ball through the air. Rain or snow doesn't negatively affect the air game in my opinion. Windy conditions are easily the worst for the QB. I've seen teams put up a ton of points in snow/rain, like you said the receivers have a slight advantage with the cuts.

Not that big a deal No one is acting like it's some crazy storm. Just stating pure fact that if it rains it will favor the Jags. Also, how did that rain help us last year against the Chargers? I distinctly remember us losing our entire group of starting WRs to injury.

Well I'm playing golf in the morning and I consider those to be scoring conditions. If it's OK with me then it's probably OK for the Giants.

On the busiest day of the year for this new board you should be on duty as a mod, not playing golf....shows how much you don't care and are only in it for the money.

OBJ can't complain about lack of touches because he's paid to keep the defense honest...just like Barkley....Stack the box, kill them deep.....Double OBJ, kill them at the line..... Everything looks good on paper except for the OL (Right side)

I'll be at the HOOT on the Hudson in Cold Spring. I'm not even gonna see the game until I get home that night. And I think we long ago established I was only in it for the money, so there's that.
