New York Giants’ Joe Judge addresses the media, here are the quotes to see. Joe Judge says there will be competition at every position, mentions offensive lineman inside and out at center and tackle. Judge on quarantine for a QB? – they are trying to keep all the players spaced out at camp…did not have any specific thoughts on the QBs. Joe Judge says Giants training camp this year will be very similar to how college football programs structure their camps without having preseason games to get ready for. Joe Judge on releasing K Aldrick Rosas: “We felt it was best for the team.” Joe Judge says that as of right now, no other Giants players have indicated they plan to opt out of the 2020 season. On the extra cap space the Giants get with Nate Solder opting out, Joe Judge said “We don’t feel like we have money burning a hole in our pocket.” Asked about DeAndre Baker, who is on the commissioner’s exempt list, Joe Judge will “let the league deal with that issue”. Joe Judge on the NFL in the COVID era: “We have to stay healthy. The healthiest team has an advantage.” read more

For some reason. I just feel at ease with this guy running the show. For no reason at all. Just gut.

'We’re going to have 16 games of opponents that are going to be a lot tougher than following protocols.” Guess Judge doesn't think they are making he playoffs...lol

So far to me he's proven to be a very good communicator, I've never felt him coming off as not having an answer to a question, his answers sound honest and make sense, and seems totally organized. I fully expect a SB win with him as Giants HC at some point.

He may not answer it but I am sure he will not appear to be inept in his coaching with "deer in the headlights" answers.

I fully expect a SB win with him as Giants HC at some point. I hear him and I have so much confidence in him,and I want to get my pads and helmet on and start smashing into things. . And I think he is also realistic enough to understand wins, especially early are going to be very scarce this year with all this I really like the idea of structuring this training camp like college, and lord knows he was part of a staff that had Alabama ready for week one Unfortunately we aren't playing Outer Zimbabwe state and West Alaska state the first 2 weeks like the Tide usually do in normal years) I see a long term success here with this guy after this year

I listened to his Q&A with the media and I continue to be impressed with his answers. But the important thing to remember is Mara was not looking for a short term fix. Hopefully this guy will be with us for a good stretch.

What I mean is that if he doesn't have early success, I don't think he'll be out after year 2.

Hopefully we can get to the Steelers model. Since I was at Penn State, they have had just 3 head coaches. Chuck Knoll, Bill Cowher and Tomlin. That is a remarkable record over 40 years.

Tell that to Pat Shurmur. Everyone is out if they don’t have success after year 2.

I know they talked about how they can't keep hiring coaches, but I don't recall him guaranteeing anything about job security. But covid or not, I think Judge is going not be successful and this won't be an issue.

I have not heard anyone in the organization say anyone is getting a pass. Again, once we're 8-10 weeks into the season I don't know how you use OTA's, or rookie coaches as an excuse if this team is playing badly while healthy at the key positions. We lose Jones or Barkley for a stretch it might be a different story.

Every team is dealing with the same issues created by the Pandemic. If Joe Judge is coaching the team 3 years from now, it will be because the ownership believes in what he is doing. To make ownership believe, the results will have to be there.

We can easily be 0-6, 1-8, or 2-10 because of the constraints placed on this new staff due to lack of being able to work with and evaluate each players strengths and weaknesses. There should be no debate on this . How does he not get a pass?

The will look at team effort, game planning and others, but that could come before W/L this year.

at this point in time I think the league is more concerned with how all of this Covid stuff will effect their already glut profits....
