Just watched some interviews of this guy and WOW. I am impressed. He seems so mature and ready to put in the work. They asked him his favorite postion to play and his answer was “I just want to play Football”. Commenting he will play anywhere he is needed. This guy was a 4th round pick and is light years mentally ahead of Apple and Baker as far as I can see. (Maturity wise). I admit to being a huge Homer but this kid is going to be good

Hopefully, Holmes (edit) takes full advantage of his opportunity. Oddly though, Holmes hasn’t played a down of football for us. But, seems to be a very popular player on these boards. Maybe if we’re lucky he’ll make it into Canton before week 6.

Baker had flags due to his practice habits, intelligence, and maturity. Holmes is a smart kid lauded for his maturity and habits.... that enrolled in college early and got his degree in 2 years... Holme's mentors are Rod Woodson, Dieon Sanders, and Aeneas Williams... Baker's are the neighborhood stickup kids and O-Dog from Menace to Society (but more like Marlon wayans in Don't Be a Menace...)

I've always hated lima beans. Reminds me of my elementary school cafeteria. Lima beans and peas are about the same for me. Disgusting/tasteless things my mom made me eat. But I bet 80% of peeps here never ate a Lima bean.

Yeah... I didn't say they were his "idol's"... I said "mentor's".. There's a difference. He's the son of a pro player who's in contact with the names I mentioned..also don't understand how your "talk is cheap" relates with the topic of Baker and Holmes being polar opposites but ok...

I know many peeps love pea soup. I guess when you add enough spices to disguise the horrible taste of peas it's good. Is there a good Lima bean soup?

Those are some names I’m surely going to miss throughout the season. Hilliman was allergic to the football, the Giants never gave Peace a chance, and Gaulden? They forgot he was even on the team, and when they realized he was they gave him his release.

I don't like pea soup either but the thing is, when you cook the crap out of peas they are going to taste like crap. The beauty of peas is in their freshness, barely cooked with a bit of a crunch even. Sautee with a bit of butter, a small squeeze of lime and they almost taste sweet.

Whenever I cook a smoked ham, I always give the bone with plenty of meat left on it to my sister, to make the pea soup. Not my thing, but everyone else seems to go nuts over it.
