Lawrence is the kinda kid that can go into a bad situation and turn them into a great team. Thats how good he can be.

It rarely is for teams picking #1, but he is the kind of QB you can depend on IMO to take the team to the next level.

As far as I know, he isnt a quitter and will welcome a challenge like the Giants. Imagine he turns it around the kind of Rockstar he would be here? His talent leaps off the film IMO. Imagine we have our own Russell Wislon or Aaron Rosgers? Thats the level of play I think he has.

It’s somewhere between comical and pathetic to read some of these posts.
The Giants have their QB - if they get the first pick they will trade it for numerous picks and will land WR’s a RB and a Center that will send the a Giants and Jones to a different level offensively.

Its also comical to watch this team and think any position we have filled is the answer.

Dude, if the Giants finish with the first pick overall, they are drafting Trevor Lawrence. Passing on him would be felonious. Jones would become immediate trade bait. Lawrence's upside is way higher than Jones'. "Having their QB" certainly didn't stop the Cardinals from drafting Kyler Murray.

Well, I know patience is a virtue, but if rookie season and the first three weeks is any indication of what Jones will or can be.. i'm good on whatever we decided to do going into the offseason. Straight up, wont lose any sleep if we move on, won't lose any sleep if we keep him. This is subject to change by the end of the season. I'm rooting for him, but honestly, I just don't see it. I don't need to hear the but its only 16 games, or he never has his weapons, or he needs more time blah blah blah. He's got issues that extend outside of htat. I do for the record feel 2 years is WAY to short to give up on him. he needs 3-4 to be fair, thats even if he plays poorly the entire season. just saying I wont care either way.

I don't watch college football, so I need to know just how "can't miss" is he? Is he Baker Mayfield kinda can't miss or Andrew Luck kinda can't miss? I mean, if we pick #1, I don't see how we don't take him...I just want to know what we are taking.

Don't bother around here The knee jerkers have already made up their minds ... Unfortunately Slayton has become the only guy teams fear and he isn't superman with nobody else opposite him .. The trade down is the best solution... Personally we won't be near in range to have this option

When we have a new GM and coaching staff, I promise they won't say they "have their qb." No one with a brain will tie their success to jones. No chance in hell.

I know we're extremely terrible, but there are so many other teams playing badly this year. Watch us get the 3rd pick. Because that's just what we do LOL.
