...set this team back 5 years. This team is horrid, and it's entirely his players right now (except for Gallman, Engram, and Tomlinson, who oh boy look great don't they?)
I tried to be patient with "trusting the process" and giving it time to gel. **** that now. SF sucked a couple years ago and now their backups are kicking our ass.
I could count on one hand the decent players he has brought in: Bradberry, Martinez, ....ummm....
Yes, Saquon: great player, but what has that pick helped? zero.
I think Daniel Jones will be an ok QB in the NFL at some point but he is not the heir to Eli Manning. No way.
John Mara is so lame as an owner; he doesn't know how to live in the present, only lives in the past glories. We were spoiled by the TC/Eli SB's....those were so significant it's hard to imagine now....nine years later.
I feel bad for Joe Judge; there's no way to accurately rate his performance as HC after 3 games. But people are going to pounce on him.
Anyway Mara will not fire Gettleman until the season is over. And fired he will be.

Never had faith in the Gettleman hire from the start. He got ran out of Carolina for a reason, and only John Mara was dumb enough to hire him without seriously considering any other people.
3 years and you still can't point to a single position group that can win games.
Just awful.

Well people said we need a qb and we had the number 2 pick in 2018. We could have taken Josh Allen who is a gun slinger and turns the Ball over less than Jones.
Who in their right mind makes rb a priority over qb in todays nfl. Then we reach for qb in the next draft.
All his moves are too late and end up causing mistakes every year. TC and JR won 2 superbowls. Then you oust TC instead of JR and replace him 3 times to find less success as you had no proper plan. Our ownership really has screwed up also.

He must go, it is time! It did not work, he wasn't the man for the job, the team is even worse compared to Reese ERA
Ownership got it wrong with Gettleman, cut your losses now and don't drag this thing out allowing this man to make this team worse
This Roster LACKS TALENT! It think a lot of us fans overrated a lot of the talent on this Roster as well
Correct that Wrong and Hire Louis Riddick, the guy they should've originally hired instead of Gettleman IMO! Need YOUNG Creative Minds in your front office in this ERA like Brett Veach with the Chiefs, John Lynch with the 49ers. Those guys know how to LOAD the Roster with Talent!

Gettleman probably told mara what he wanted to hear. set us back in rebuilding you can not rebuild and try to win now, because then you draft a rb at #2 and you sign tate to a high cap number.

This Giants organization is a shell of what it used to be . Really makes you feel good to watch a QB that was undrafted absolutely demolish your team when the guy you took with a 6 pick literally can’t do anything .

When you look at what John Lynch has done with the 49ers, it is night and day compared to the Giants.

As it stands, I think 5-11/6-10 is the most realistic. From a first year HC to the pandemic that destroyed the offseason, this team will not be winning much in September/October. By November we were looking at: Tampa, at Washington, Phili, at Cinci, at Seattle, Arizona, Cleveland, at Baltimore and then Dallas. We could be looking at 1 maybe 2 wins in September but looks like 1 winnable game in October, if even that. 2 wins in the first two months of the season could really hurt this team going into the second half of the season. I think saying 5-6 wins this season was being generous. Yikes.

I wonder how they each would have done had they switched teams? Probably exactly the same. That Nick Mullen carries that lousy team almost as good as Garappolo does. It's heroic really.

I can't stick up for him any longer. At this point if they don't start playing better they will have the first pick in the draft and he won't be here to use it.
