I can't stick up for him any longer. At this point if they don't start playing better they will have the first pick in the draft and he won't be here to use it. Yep. I've been on record for wanting one more year - it makes sense (jones, judge) wise, but this has been unacceptable even with low expecations. The guy said his mission was to make the o-line filled with hog mollies and to fix it, that was really the biggest task and to get a QB.. The oline doesn't look like its much better. The thing that is worrisome is bc Judge an Jones are new and young they're either going to have to find a new GM who is willing to take on both which lessens the talent pool or they hire from within and that's just as scary tbh.

This Giants organization is a shell of what it used to be . Really makes you feel good to watch a QB that was undrafted absolutely demolish your team when the guy you took with a 6 pick literally can’t do anything . I wonder how they each would have done had they switched teams? Probably exactly the same. That Nick Mullen carries that lousy team almost as good as Garappolo does. It's heroic really. Mullen is just one of those guys that makes guys better .. 2 years ago when they played us he looked just as good .. Can you imagine him on a great team? He knows how to win

His offense was terrible once we let Coughlin go. We got to the playoffs because of our defense and OBJ big plays on offense.

I think they can sell the coach but a new GM if they are picking top 3 Jones might be replaced especially if they have a shot at Lawrence.

He is still deactivated for a reason. He did say he wanted to draft Mahomes "I'm going to keep it 100 and I'm going to tell it like it is, and it's terrible, man. I feel like we really don't got a leader in Coach McAdoo. Going from Coach [Tom] Coughlin, a leader who just had that presence. Like if you were doing something wrong, like on the phone in the hallway walking by, like [Coughlin] is going to say something to you. Coach McAdoo, on the other hand, would see you on the phone in the hallway, walk by you and then fine you."

well sure we can blame the Gm and then Mara for hiring him . but ultimately its the fans fault.
Fans couldnt let go of Eli , they revolted against the benching to see other qbs play while eliminated in 2017
Mara trying to pacify the mob , fired big mc and reese the next week
Hired Gettleman to tell him eli had years left.
Set back the rebuild a full season , drafted a rb at #2 and stuck us with some big contracts. trying to "win now"
Now here we are. i know fans dont like to hear it but this is what happened in a nut shell.

I disagree. The Fans were ok with a change in 2017. The coaches failed and sat Eli for Geno Smith. Had they started Webb the blowback wouldn’t have been so bad

Remember how Beckham's numbers were gonna just explode once he got to a team with a real QB that wouldn't hold him back? As usual most chemistry set GMs were totally right about that too. The Giants ownership should really start listening

...set this team back 5 years. This team is horrid, and it's entirely his players right now (except for Gallman, Engram, and Tomlinson, who oh boy look great don't they?) I tried to be patient with "trusting the process" and giving it time to gel. **** that now. SF sucked a couple years ago and now their backups are kicking our ass. I could count on one hand the decent players he has brought in: Bradberry, Martinez, ....ummm.... Yes, Saquon: great player, but what has that pick helped? zero. I think Daniel Jones will be an ok QB in the NFL at some point but he is not the heir to Eli Manning. No way. John Mara is so lame as an owner; he doesn't know how to live in the present, only lives in the past glories. We were spoiled by the TC/Eli SB's....those were so significant it's hard to imagine now....nine years later. I feel bad for Joe Judge; there's no way to accurately rate his performance as HC after 3 games. But people are going to pounce on him. Anyway Mara will not fire Gettleman until the season is over. And fired he will be. It’s more than Gettleman.....it’s the awful coaches, to include Judge, and it is time for Mara to realize he cannot run the team. I’m not blaming anyone except for Mara! I have had it with him! I wish he would sell the team. I want to throw up when I look at him and Tisch. Every year....sickened by the sight of their incompetence as shown by the lack of talent. I’m not going to fault players. If you suck...then you suck. If you work hard, one day you may get a clue. But it is MARA’S fault all the way for allowing our team to be plagued with shit on both sides of the ball. Why are you drafting and signing shit, Mara? WHY? You are shit! You have no idea how to run a football team! You are stealing peoples money! I want you gone! You are F-ing stupid!

He's the guy pushing all this unwillingness to part with the past. Gettleman should never have been hired. Shurmur should never have been hired. Eli should have been asked to walk after the 2017 season. John Mara has been driving all of this.

well i think that got the ball rolling on several missteps. instead of rebuilding asap, it was stalled. To be fair, I'm sure of two things: 1. Mara insisted Eli stay. 2. Eli would've been ok for another 2 years with a decent OL. They should have kept Eli and waited for a sure thing QB. They could have waited and maybe look at a player like Lawrence more of a sure thing at QB. Eve when Jones gets time, he holds on to the ball to long and throws behind WR or misses them more often than not.

Apparently Odell extended Eli's career and now that he got a real qb in Baker his numbers would explode and triple his output in the dawg pound compared to ......OH WAIT.......

Never had faith in the Gettleman hire from the start. He got ran out of Carolina for a reason, and only John Mara was dumb enough to hire him without seriously considering any other people. 3 years and you still can't point to a single position group that can win games. Just awful. Wasn't EA brought in as a consultant and recommended Gettleman, even though many believed Gettleman was going to get the job anyways?
