Had a little fun with 2 trade backs here and assembling what would be an absolute nightmare of a defense to face with some fun weapons on offense.
28: R1 P28 LB Zaven Collins - Tulsa- I’m all in. Do it all type of guy who makes the biggest play in the game week after week. Can be used as a traditional LB, edge in situations, etc. 6’4 260 and can absolutely move. Makes plays all over the field. He’s unbelievable
58: R2 P26 CB Jaycee Horn - South Carolina- I’ve watched him twice and he really really stud out both times. Against Auburn he was phenomenal. He had at least 2 picks and another deflection that caused another pick. He also had what seemed like a million pass breakups on Seth Williams who is no slouch at all
82: R3 P18 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh- I love Patrick Jones. He was one of my biggest sleepers last year before the draft and he returned for his senior season. Second in the nation in sacks at 9 currently. He has good bend around the edge and just seems to constantly get pressures when I watch. He had a monster game against Louisville earlier this year when I watched.
89: R3 P25 WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - USC- big fan of his game. I think he’ll be more dynamic in the NFL. He would be a great fit alongside Slayton and with the previous draft selections they would have money to try and snag someone like Allen Robinson or another top FA WR.
91: R3 P27 TE Charlie Kolar - Iowa State- Engram is coming on and they seem high on him but health is always a concern with him and Kolar can be insurance for that and is a really solid weapon in his own right.
121: R4 P19 DL Dante Stills - West Virginia- very fun interior DL to watch in college. His brother is an absolute freak as well and will probably go significantly higher but Dante Stills is still a very good football player I think
160: R5 P19 WR Kadarius Toney - Florida- human joystick player who can be used on end arounds, screens, etc. he’s also a very capable WR who is an absolute blur when he catches the ball. He would be a dynamic returner at the next level as well which is something we’re lacking
197: R6 P18 RB Rakeem Boyd - Arkansas- very solid backup option for Saquon and Gallman if he’s back.
199: R6 P20 G Stewart Reese - Mississippi State

I just don't see the depth of talent after the first 15 picks. The drop off is steep for most positions. I don't know if this is best year to trade back. ... Maybe there just hasn't been enough college games for players to stand out.

Maybe there just hasn't been enough college games for players to stand out. That’s fair and I get that. I was mostly just messing around to see what I could get. Picking around this range has been completely different than firmly in the top 10 so I did one with no trades a couple days ago to see what I could do and I did one with a couple trades. I don’t think trading back in the first makes much sense at all but I would be all ears and open to moving back in the second or third round to try and add another pick or two

I actually enjoy seeing different scenarios play out. It was just a random thought that popped up because I have not been excited by these college players this year. Probably just the Covid effect.

Looks like 19 will be our spot for a while...
Also looks like some need dynamics could be changing... Yiadom somehow is starting to resemble a solid starting CB...... still 4 games left but while we are in a legit playoff hunt its still evaluation time Let's hope he continues to play at this level....with how hard it is seemingly to find even solid starters this could be the ultimate miracle for this team, that corner would be a depth/BPA pick later on (because i fear if we stay at 19 there will be such a major run on corners before our pick we will be looking at a late 2nd round at best corner being the best guy left) I also fear Collins ends up going top 10...unlike Floyd this guy is playing like Tarzan while looking like Tarzan..... I think other than QBs....Sewell,Chase and Davonta Smith its going to be a very defense heavy early part of the draft.... Which in an ironic twist of fate a year after we seemingly draft our entire young starting O line we could have what would normally be top graded OTs sitting there at 19 along with WRs like Bateman.......

He's gonna be starting in the NFL. I was taking Rashad Weaver, Jones teammate who missed last year with an ACL, later in the mocks as he looks impressive when I watch them...damn, Panthers have a beastly DL. Jaylen Twyman is an easy first rounder, and the 3 tech most compared to Donald...they could have 3 of their linemen playing in the NFL next year...impressive. Toney and St. Brown weapons...Horn is rising fast. Nice. I would be happy with this draft.

Paris Ford their safety is another player I really liked to watch last year. I haven’t really seen much of them live this year so I haven’t seen how he has been doing. I was going to be heavily looking at him if we didn’t take a safety in the draft this past year. Kolar is a nice player. He’s a solid blocker and you need to be when you have the RB they have and want him to continue to dominate. Solid hands too and a big target. Big fan. St Brown is really fun. He’s kind of the new breed of WRs coming out like the Terry M in Washington for example. I would love to get him. Toney would be really fun to grab as well and would be instantly dynamic in the return game and select plays on offense

Another week Another mock offseason
Did a little different Cut Soldier (June 1st)Tate,Tohiolo. Extended Zeitler to have a low 2021 number and converted to bonus (when you have over 100 million a year starting 2022 its much easier to do this and absorb a potential dead hit if needed..)his play is definitely steady now and I like the rotation/depth of this unit..
Resigh William's,Tomlinson,Ryan 1 year deal to Sheard...depth for the edge and seems to be clutch when used as is I'm not signing any free agents this time... Let's see how the rest of the season plays out before I go out and get a corner..let Yiadom's play decide
Got an insane offer from tbe Jets and got their 1st pick in round 2..
27: R1 P27 WR Rashod Bateman - Minnesota
We are a dynamic weapon or 2 outside from being a lethal top 5 offense Hight, speed, post catch ability...he would be an instant impact for this offense
33: R2 P1 LB Zaven Collins - Tulsa
Probably won't be here...but I couldn't resist ...this defense is now beastly
51: R2 P19 WR Chris Olave - Ohio State
He reminds me every way of Marvin Harrison Who wouldn't want a Marvin Harrison...combined with Bateman and Slayton... That is a hell of an 11 formation to defend with Barkley and the improved O line
82: R3 P18 TE Charlie Kolar - Iowa State
He can do it all...and with Engram up in the air after 2021..more for the offense to go along with the defense
121: R4 P19 CB Deommodore Lenoir - Oregon
Depth at CB..can play any scheme..
194: R6 P15 G Stewart Reese - Mississippi State
Depth at guard..Hernandez is a ? After 2021
197: R6 P18 RB Rakeem Boyd - Arkansas
Great back up for Barkley
Yes I built up the offense.... I want 2 top 5 units that can dominate opponents

My semi overreacting but unfortunately a lot of truth mock offseason
This WR group is 100% trash...im over it ..... Complete rebuild other than Slayton..
Cuts Tate,Solder...Shepard is either a trade or post June 1st...overrated Zeitler is extended
Re sign Williams,Tomlinson,Logan Ryan
FA signed Still hating spending big on a reciever but need someone professional I'll sign DeMarcus Robinson..dynamic professional WR that is a deep move the chains guy for a few years
Remember If the offense catches up with the defense we are in a win now window ..meaning just because I didn't address positions many wanted..we will be in the buyers market come trade deadline time
10: R1 P10 WR DeVonta Smith - Alabama
Fanspeak has him continually in the bottom 20s.. Bullshit..he is a top 10 value Instant day 1 high impact playmaker outside that immediately helps open up everything Yes I passed on defense....we have a very young group on that side of the ball witb at least one more year of Graham to grow under... Getting Jones weapons and developed is number 1 priority
42: R2 P10 LB Zaven Collins - Tulsa
Here is your high impact defensive weapon from the 2nd level Enjoy..
74: R3 P10 WR Damonte Coxie - Memphis
Like I said I'm done with this bs we have been trotting out there at WR Bigger guy with rare athleticism...think TO...
118: R4 P16 CB Deommodore Lenoir - Oregon
I'm going by what I have seen the past 4 or 5 weeks with Yiadom, with that said Lenoir is a very talented corner that would be great depth
135: R4 P33 G Tommy Kraemer - Notre Dame
Guard depth that could end up a start
189: R6 P10 TE Zach Davidson - Central Missouri
Not that familiar with him but TE could be a need as I didn't jettison Engram yet
198: R6 P19 RB Rakeem Boyd - Arkansas
Solid backup for Barkley TRADES Trade Partner: New England Patriots

10: R1 P10 EDGE Gregory Rousseau - Miami (Top edge rusher in the draft)
42: R2 P10 WR Rashod Bateman - Minnesota (Sounds ALOT like a Hakeem Nicks reincarnation)
74: R3 P10 CB Eric Stokes - Georgia (Day 1 #2CB, great press coverage guy, owns the sidelines)
112: R4 P10 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh. (Great motor, very good vs the run, shows flashes of greatness vs the pass)
189: R6 P10 WR Dazz Newsome - North Carolina (Quick and sneaky slot guy, good catch radius, very willing blocker)
198: R6 P19 CB T.J. Carter - Memphis (sticky man corner, excells in press coverage, above par vs the run, PLEASE dont put him in soft off coverage)
.
OR
P10 WR DeVonta Smith - Alabama (as close to sure hands as you can get, slippery, not really a burner but LIGHTNING quick, will go over the middle without a fear)
R2 P10 CB Jaycee Horn - South Carolina (physical, aggressive, big and mean, excells in press, but can handle his own in zone or off man, uses the sidelines to tighten the window)
R3 P10 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State (maybe my favorite edge rusher this year, very stout vs the run, quick, athletic, tons of production, very good shedding blocks)
R4 P10 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh R6 P10 WR Dazz Newsome - North Carolina R6 P19 CB T.J. Carter - Memphis

Doubt he makes it to us in the 2nd

Dude is SUCH a good WR prospect, probably my IDEAL pick for us this year, unfortunatley it doesnt look possible

[/img] I dont see Bateman as the physical intimidator that TO was, but Id LOVE it if he has a TO type of play to his game [/img]

10: R1 P10 LB Micah Parsons - Penn State
42: R2 P10 G Wyatt Davis - Ohio State
74: R3 P10 WR Chris Olave - Ohio State
112: R4 P10 TE Charlie Kolar - Iowa State
189: R6 P10 WR Kadarius Toney - Florida
198: R6 P19 LB Paddy Fisher - Northwestern
Not many picks this year...I always regretted passing on Donald for OBJ...if Parsons is there at 10, I will not do it again....taking this defensive freak over a wide receiver...especially with a deep class.
Davis is the best player at this spot...yeah, a guard...but all pro potential.
Paddy Fisher should climb a bit IMHO...as will Kolar.

Can't argue with any of this Other than teams will look at tape of Parsons picking ahead of us and think the same thing as he somehow is always where the ball is a second before the person with it is (or in the backfield shooting the correct gaps, unlike mr overrated number 48 for Arizona) Best lb prospect since Willis...and the bUt wE nEeD aN eDgE rUsHeR fIrSt crowd would be silenced if they knew he started out as an edge rusher. So when he averages 8 sacks a year as a MIc.... With that said I think Collins can be as good and dynamic a defensive weapon as Parsons and probably will be there as 10 Why I'm not adverse to signing Corey Davis so we aren't shopping hungry for a WR and a pick like this can be made

Any of you guys listen to the Prospects To Pros podcast with Dane Brugler and Lance Zierlein? One of the best draft podcasts out there IMO

It makes no sense, dude is an athletic, sideline to sideline LB who with his great instincts can excel in a coverage, chase, or pass rushing role.... MAN, can he set the edge. Oh and he went to Penn St, which is 1 of my favorite college teams. I dunno maybe I just feel like CB, WR, or an Edge Rusher is more pressing of a need.... Even though Parsons could play ILB or OLB Wyatt Davis is an absolute beast, unfortunately or fortunately between Lemieux, Zeitler, and Hernandez we are kind of set at OG right now. I wouldnt think of drafting an interior OL until round 4 of later, we just have too many pressing needs to get Davis as a luxury pick I do like the Olave, and Kolar picks. Im still on the fence about Toney, I guess as a late round pick he could be a nice gadget player, he has the speed and vision to turn nothing into something

WOW, this might be the most orgasmic draft haul that we could walk away with right here..... It was tough NOT taking Sewell at 10, MAN that dude is fun to watch but with the way Peart has looked in limited snaps and the way our pass catchers look, I had to go with Chase then again I cant complain there....
10: R1 P10 WR Ja'Marr Chase - LSU 42: R2 P10 CB Jaycee Horn - South Carolina 74: R3 P10 TE Pat Freiermuth - Penn State 112: R4 P10 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State 189: R6 P10 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh 198: R6 P19 WR Seth Williams - Auburn

So I tried it again and somehow Sewell dropped to us at 10 AGAIN, here's the best I could muster up. I wasnt totally on the fence with going Surratt in the 3rd, but the value was there and there were no CBs that really tickled my fancy. Surratt would be a excellent chess piece in the middle of the field and he is only getting better since he just recently switched over to LB from the QB spot
10: R1 P10 OT Penei Sewell - Oregon 42: R2 P10 WR Rashod Bateman - Minnesota 74: R3 P10 LB Chazz Surratt - North Carolina 112: R4 P10 CB Eric Stokes - Georgia 189: R6 P10 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh 198: R6 P19 WR Dazz Newsome - North Carolina

Figured Id do 1 last mock for the week and go with the fan favorite Micah Parsons, just to see how it would play out, and while its not my FAVORITE, id be totally on board with it if it worked out like this. In reality, there's no way Stokes or Jones last this long in the real draft
R1 P10 LB Micah Parsons - Penn State R2 P10 WR Rashod Bateman - Minnesota R3 P10 TE Pat Freiermuth - Penn State R4 P10 CB Eric Stokes - Georgia R6 P10 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh R6 P19 WR Seth Williams - Auburn
