Dallas has a simple problem. They think a guy who didn’t really do a great job, was prone to coaching gaffes and got to have 2 of the greatest QBs ever was the right choice. Honestly we are probably on better hands with Judge.

Honestly we are probably on better hands with Judge. That's a pretty bold statement considering judge has yet to win an NFL game and McCarthy, though having the benefit of two great QBs, has a SB title to his name along with multiple winning seasons and playoff appearances.

How did Phil Jackson(NBA genius fortunate enough to coach Jordan/Pippen and Shaq/Kobe) do with the Knicks? Coaching greatness isn’t the same as being a great coach.

I always thought he was a bit lazy as a coach. He left the defense in Green Bay entirely to his DC, and his offensive game plan for the most part was let Rogers improvise.

Dallas’ D ranks last or near last in almost every category. Their O stats are somewhat inflated due to the fact they are usually considerably behind in games so far.
They’re still light years better than us.

Their offense is fantastic. Their defense is fantastically horrible.

True, but right now Judge has yet to prove that he can coach his team to win a single game. And the Knicks case is not a good example since the Knicks have had many HOF coaches come through over the last 20 years and none of them have been able to make them a winning team AND Phil Jackson never coached the team. He was the GM, not the coach. So, while I get your point, it's a bad example. It's fine to think McCarthy isn't great, I was making those same sentiments when people were gushing for him for the NYG job. But, I'm not going to claim Judge is a better coach when we haven't seen enough to even determine that he's competent, let alone better than someone who has shown to at least be competent enough to win consistently.

Playing the Giants always seem to set things straight in Dallas. Since 2013 Dallas is 11-3 vs the Giants. They’re sleep walking so far this season, and most likely will win the division. Eli did play historically week against them even though it didn’t usually translate to W’s

What I think the Giants O has more issues talent wise and execution wise then the Dallas D has so it can be another tough game unless they grow from last week.

How nice it would be for NYG to "get well" in a game with Dallas. Score early and often and bring us a bit of joy.

I wonder what the Eagles record against us is in the same timeframe. I am guessing similar or better. 12-2. Do the math, the two most hated rivals we’re 5-23 since 2013. But, we got more sacks than the Cowboys.. So, we got that going for us.. Haha, of course.

This is a watershed game, so win or lose: Daniel Jones must generate 2 more passing touchdowns than turnovers. Otherwise, "Ask not for whom the bell tolls."

Better chance of that happening unfortunately. if the odds of all of us winning the lottery were 3.5-1 (Vegas odds for giants to win) we would all have won many many times. Pretty low for a guaranteed win for Dallas if u ask me

Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks basically trashed them for a straight up lack of effort on their podcast (Move The Sticks). Said that McCarthy’s and Jones’ statements after the game that they were happy with the effort sent the absolute wrong message to the team. Pretty strong criticism from two guys are are generally non-controversial Dallas may be a mess......but the Giants 5+ years of complete and continued ineptitude makes it difficult for any Giants fan to revel in the Cowboy’s current problems.

This Sunday Zeke will gain 200 yards rushing, with 3 TDS. On defense they will blitz which effectively removes Slayton from the game plan as the Giant sieve for an offensive line will force Jones to throw very, very quickly and not allow Slayton to get downfield on his patterns. This will also destroy the rushing attack. I expect the Giants to break a couple of long plays as they occasionally bust a run through the blitz or complete a quick slant that bust past the safeties after the catch. Final score will be 45-20, Cowboys.

Who’s reveling in anything? Just pointed out what I thought was interestingly harsh criticism from two high profile media guys not known for that type of stuff. As I said, they are likely still going to roll the Giants

My fear is we're gonna be forced into a 'shootout' and thats something the cowboys right now would win, even if we manage to pick it up and get some scoring going. ive no dreams of a good record this year, but i DO want judge to get some Ws, for the morale of the team, for some confidence in at least heading in the right direction. we need to at least get some victories here, really hope they can pull this out sunday, but youre gonna have a desperate cowboys team
if the giants could win obviously thatd be a nice treat for us, but the bigger story by far would be dallas collapsing to the lowly gmen.
and man thatd be sweet lol. i wana see mcarthys face all red from behind his menu.

Should be an interesting matchup
Terrible offense vs terrible defense
Surprisingly good defense vs good offense

Should be an interesting matchup Terrible offense vs terrible defense Surprisingly good defense vs good offense Our defense has somewhat kept us in games, at least through the first halves (and buckled down in the second half of the other).
Their defense has pretty much kept them out of all their games.

Ok, we have had our 4 preseason games. No more excuses. Let's make a run of it and win the division. If not, we might as well tank and go for the top draft pick.

It just looks much better because of how anemic the offense is.

The Giants historically have been considered a tough team.....that left the Giants facility the day Tom Coughlin walked out the door for the last time.

Well things might change for that Dallas Offense now that they just lost their LT Smith to a season ending injury. Also doesnt help that they lost their RT Collins. It might be a long season for those Cowboys.
