He’s out a minimum 3 games. Shoulder injury. He was having a rough season. 108 snaps, 5 tackles and 1 QB hit. Fackrell has earned the right to take Ximinez snaps and play more.

Last couple games he was getting good pressure and showing signs of setting the edge better, Think less snaps might be better for him as he learns.

This should give Cameron Brown or Carter Coughlin some playing time.

Not giving up on Ximines just like I'm not giving up on Corey Ballintine it is way too early especially considering that neither are from Major Programs so Both just need more time to Develop
Get Mayo Back, maybe they move Downs back outside

Ballantine hasn't played a snap on defense in two weeks. He's a roster move from being an ex-Giant.

X was starting to string together some good pass rush and tight up his run defense the last couple games.

He was a gamble, small school kid. So far he looks like a fish out of water this year.

The more and more of these guys I am seeing the less faith I am having in DG

The more and more of these guys I am seeing the less faith I am having in DG 3rd rounders are mostly situational players as they develop they get more snaps and hopefully become starters sometime in their second year or in there 3rd year. Either way this kid strung 2 decent games together and still has a chance to be a good player in this league the injury doesn't help. Carter is playing all over the defense and contributing in all facets. Hill is part-time on one of the best 3 man fronts in football when he gets time he produces. with some luck your 3rd rounders become full time starters year one or year 2 depending on what position they play.

He looked a lot better the last 2 games good pressure setting the edge this is a young player that like all young guys is learning a new system while still learning to be a pro with little offseason work. The Giants are at a disadvantage in some ways because they are so young, Carter has only had one full year of starting experience he's one of the elders on the defense going into his 3rd season and playing pretty good ball Ximines needed to stay healthy he needs the on field work all these year 1/ 2 and 3 guys need the work they needed the offseason and the preseason.
