Amazing
Alex Smith more than likely the starting QB for Football Team as Dwayne Haskins is expected to be traded in the coming weeks.
Chase Young vs Andrew Thomas is a matchup worth watching. Hopefully winning that meaningless OT game last season was worth it.
This could be a game that decides the next uber talented college QB prospects landing spot.

Dwayne Haskins is expected to be traded in the coming weeks. Really? Rumors are circulating. Remember, only 1 person in the organization wanted Haskins with their pick. Strong expectation Dwayne Haskins traded before deadline, and some rival execs are already watching film Haskins is not seen as a fit in the current regime's system, and he's expected to be a healthy scratch most weeks Several sources close to Haskins have advised him that a trade would be far and away the best outcome possible, ideally to a solid franchise with an experienced veteran QB the 23-year-old could learn from. Haskins was not drafted by this regime, which was not high on him coming out of college. He is not a fit in their system, and his personality has rubbed them the wrong way since early on. Sources say with almost no practice time now and likely to be a healthy scratch many weeks, it's difficult for Haskins to envision a future for himself in Washington, where his development has never felt like a priority dating back to last season, when soon-to-be-fired coach Jay Gruden threw him into regular season games before many believed he was ready. www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/strong-expectation-dwayne-haskins-traded-before-deadline-and-some-rival-execs-are-already-watching-film/

Haskins is gone There were reports after the draft that the football people didn't want him, and now that the new one likes him even less. The only question is if anyone else is going to want him. Reports of bad attitude and work ethic are not good, especially for a guy who seemed more interested in hyping his brand post draft.

Thankfully the Giants didn't go with haskins but if Jones doesn't start getting some wins that pick is also looking bad and what team would want him?

This is true, but their work ethics are on opposite sides of the spectrum. DJ is a workaholic. Some coach could see that and love his potential still, focusing in the good stuff he does, and think the turnovers are fixable with a better team around him. Of course we would never get anything close to a #6 pick for him, but I think we could get a 2nd rounder to the right team. That includes NE who reportedly was interested in DJ as well. If we get that #1 pick...

I just don't see many teams in that position outside of maybe NE, Saints or SF now that Jimmy G. has been exposed.. Jax, Jets, Giants and Wash are all looking for Lawrence or Fields over Jones..

Great, so this year they beat us out for Chase Young and next year they beat us out for Trevor Lawrence.

This is the kind of game where you choose painting the house over watching the game. Not because the house needs a new coat of paint. Just because the idea of watching paint dry seems more entertaining.
A combined record of 1-9. One team is considering trading their 15th overall quarterback who has started only 11 games. Against an 0-5 team that has won only 9 games in the last 28.

Thing is with Chase Young back in their rotation. Their pass rush will similar to the one that sacked Wentz like 8 times, and with our terrible oline and djs incompetence I don't see how we should be favored

I agree though. I think the wrong team is favored.

I didn't expect to win yesterday, but I expect we'll put together a string of wins over the next part of the schedule. Everyone is out of excuses now.

You are correct that 0 - 16 is still unlikely (I think 2 is the sweet spot for this team) but I wouldn't bet the Giants this week if I were you. Washington's pass rush is nasty and the Giants have one of the if not the worst starting LT in the NFL.

Davis Webb was a workaholic …. Are you comparing Davis Webb to Daniel Jones though? Nope … just pointing out that work ethic doesn't always translate to good QB play.

Rumor is coaching staff never wanted him. that now makes two bc Gruden never wanted him either if the rumors are trueThis is what happens when you bring in new Coaches and GMs they have their own guys in mind already, haskins wasn't it and I'm sure there's some stuff going on behind the scenes that made the decision to give up on haskins an easier one to make.

Otherwise Id be as good as Peyton Manning.... lol It does take skill but also it takes determination to be great. Brady was a very average QB in college and even into the NFL. He didnt have the same road Peyton did, who had the skill and work ethic coming in. TB worked his ass off and developed into one of the best QBs in the game. Also helps having the GOAT of HCs.

So these 2 teams could be picking in the top 3 along with the Jests & some of you hope we win? Did not losing Chase Young to them teach you anything? This season is once a gain a lost cause, the best outcome for this team is to go 0-16 & get the #1 pick. Hopefully the Skins sweep us & the other NY team wins 2-3 games as well. If ever this team needed the #1 pick, it's this yr! They can either trade it for a ton of top picks or pick the best QB/DE available.

Really, that the best you could come with? So win 4-5-6 games & once again get crap in the draft. Would going 4-12 or 5-11 make you feel proud to be a Giants fan? 0-16 is the same as going 4-12, except you get the #1 pick in the draft. Unlike some of you, I'm a realist, this team needs the #1 pick in 21' more than they do a few "feel good wins" that make you go do a happy dance. Then when the Jets end up with the #1 pick & we're picking 4th, you'll be crying when they're picking the top players you wanted all cuz you wanted a couple of meaningless wins this yr. And worse yet, when the Jets are wining a SB with those picks in a couple of yrs & we're still fighting with the Skins for the cellar dweller championship, you'll feel real proud about winning 3-4 meaningless games in 20'.

It depends on how Jones look this season overall if we end up having the number 1 pick. If I'm not mistaken Rosen has barely played in the NFL.
