Nick Foles will probably be available next year... foles isn't going back to Philly. They already have jason hurtz waiting in the wings as their #2 pick. I think this explains the resignation I saw on the face of wentz this season and why pederson is acting as if it's a rebuild.

How will they absorb that massive dead money hit when they are already 85 million over next year's cap to do this ?

They still incour the instant dead money hit no matter what they do And why would Jacksonville do this when they probably have Fields lined up?

They still incour the instant dead money hit no matter what they do And why would Jacksonville do this when they probably have Fields lined up? they still shed the remainder. was just using Jags as an example. Someone will want Wentz, if someone like Phillip Rivers found a starter job. The revealing thing with regards to Eagles is that they used a 2nd draft pick on QB this year when they had so many holes to fill. unlike brady who was coddled by an owner, i think pederson has the authority to move on

They can want to move on all they want but there is no way they will be able to have this cap hit happen in 2021

Not in 2021,financially impossible When you move on from a player that has a prorated bonus when you delete all the bonus money is instantly accelerated into that year's cap (tbe Odell trade caused 17 million instantly accelerated in 2019) They are 85 over the cap to begin with that they somehow have to move... A large chunk os guaranteed I think .

Wentz was almost the representative from a team that potentially deserved the league's regular season MVP award.

Personally I thought Foles was a better QB and that they should've just stuck with him since he was drafted. He's always been an efficient QB who was a good arm and makes some great throws
People today really need instant gratification and I think that pertains to coaches just as much. They also always need to have "their guy". It's pretty stupid and comes off as possibly egotistical in some cases. Can hurt a team.
The eagles have had a lot of issues. But wentz can still be a dangerous QB when he's not constant being hit. I think he should be the least of their worries right now.
