My wife and I just got done watching this a little while ago. I am still convinced that we would have won by 40 if the refs didn't intervene......

I agree. The Pack got every call and the Giants still blew their doors off. Great showing.
No answer for Nicks at all.

Yep Would have been over by halftime and a 45-20 or something game at the end..
What was funny was there were a lot of people kinda on our bandwagon thinking we were going to win it again yet Vegas still had us major underdogs to New England..
The only time I actually bet on the Giants in a Super Bowl, that's how confident I was

Refs gifted GB their 2 TDs. WR clearly fumbles, they called it a non fumble. Osi hit AR clean on that 4th dn & refs called BS hit to the head & gave em fresh set of dns to score their 2nd TD. Tynes missed a FG. Game shoulda ended like 38-6. NFL badly wanted a GB/NE SB, Giants said, "Hold my beer". I lile how the GB excuse card was, "the better team lost", gave us zero credit for kicking their butts. Some Seattle players said same crap last week too.

You can see just how superb Eli Manning slid around in the pocket in this game...awareness and reading was one of his strong suits, and what an elite immobile QB needs to learn at an early age. Those were Manning family traits. A QB such as Jones depends so much on his legs, you simply just never know he will ever grasp that feeling of where the rush is coming from. Case in point...Eli does not get sacked on his sight side against the Cards, with fans groaning he threw the ball at Golden's feet. Mobility is a great aspect to a game, but should never be your all in move after a 1st read....climbing a pocket and feeling the pressure is tough to learn for mobile QB's at a later stage such as NFL year 2....if Jones gets that ability to climb a pocket and dance in a phone booth, we have our franchise guy. At this point, sadly, I don't see it. Thanks for the video

The one that sticks out in my mind was the roughing the QB call that extended the Packers final TD drive.

Funny how I didn't remember so bad calls in that game.
Loved seeing Osi "flying" after a sack or stripped ball. He was a great pass rusher for us.

God I miss those days. After that second Super Bowl I legitimately told myself I would be okay if we absolutely sucked for the next 20 years, because I got to witness 2 of the greatest playoff runs in 2007 and 2011.
I apologize if that was a jinx. At least we're about halfway done with it. Only another 10 years to go.

Let's be honest, this SB run doesn't happen if half the old board didn't bury gnomes in their front yard
