Hell of a game last night against the Devils. Kreider has been on a roll recently, this 6 game stretch he has like 9 goals I believe.
At this point im starting to feel bad for Mika, he's still an excellent penalty killer, but he cant buy points this season
Fingers are crossed that Shesh didnt suffer a bad injury. I couldnt tell if it was a knee, back or groin injury, but he looked like he was in PAIN

Not a bad diagnosis considering how it looked last night. Don Legreca was talking about it on Michael Kay earlier, or I'd post a link.

Well that's good news, when he went down it looked BAD, especially since he was helped off the ice screaming in pain. I wouldn't force him especially since we have Georgiev, who is just as good. This might be the best goalie tandem since Beezer/Richter

Shame about Pavelich who was having a very rough time with dementia for years.

Rough one - a men vs boys game.
Whole team struggled.

Growing pains yet at least the team has direction. Tons of prospects.

During his press conference with the ESPN boss and the media, Commissioner Gary Bettman revealed that this revenue hole will require four more years of a flat cap — or near flat, meaning maybe a million or so dollars in growth. ... The salary cap will be a flat cap or near flat cap for the next four years
Rangers could be ok but forget any shopping kids for high priced vets.

what is going on with them? Philly was a full step plus ahead of the Rangers last season. Now they look lost and it’s not like the Rangers have been great this season.

It's amazing they have the same record after Philly's hot start this season too. I'm not sure what their issue is. Defense and goaltending it sounds like, but especially the D which has shattered Hart's confidence so I hear. Hopefully the Rangers can keep rolling. It's been a weird half season so far, they are still in contention for that #4 spot in the division and a playoff birth. At a minimum I want to use this half season to get this team united and ready for a real run next year.

Glad Zibby is back so he’ll cost a lot. Buch i figured was trade bait (i go back and forth) yet they really can’t live without him. What will he cost? Meanwhile, they need a Center. Maybe Chytil is the guy and just run Strome’s contract into the ground for another year.

Trade the only tough player you have to get Kratsov on the ice? I don’t like it, they are already soft enough. And they underperform regularly towards end of periods. 4 minutes from a point today, got to learn to hold the fort down in those situations. This teams youth is exciting g, it’s also frustrating.

Losing both Lemiuex and Fast makes this team even more finesse. Looking in they system a Morgan Barron (who i am really high on) and some of these defenders will help but, gee, there are a lot of figure skaters out there.

I think what you’re trying to say is the Rangers are soft as baby ish, which they are. Even if they make the playoffs their team wide skill is going to get dominated by a team that plays them tough. Just look what Carolina did last year. You got to have a mix, Rangers are all finesse and just shopped out the one guy who scrapped and mixed it up. And it was done so they can get another “figure skater” on the ice.

Now we can get bullied and do nothing about it, smh

Of course after the game it’s the useless 4 goal comeback people want to talk about. I swear this team leads the league in moral victories. Sad.

Yes I'm an Islander fan but when I was growing up before the Isles I rooted for the Rangers. Always have a soft spot in my heart for my first love. Even though my marriage to the Isles now.
Now what I wanted to say last night watched the Rangers lose a tough one to the Caps. Was rooting for the Rangers cause it would have helped the Isles for the most points in the division.
The Caps were kicking ass 2-0 end of 1st period. 4-0 end of 2nd period. It was an ass whipping then the 3rd period the Rangers score 4 goals to the Caps 1. Rangers lose this 5-4, and if there was another 5 minutes the Rangers would have tied and won this game.
From me saying what a mess this team is to I don't want to play them their next game. Comeback fell short but the feeling of what this team is capable of stayed with me so much I just had to respond to you guys.
The Blueshirts were very impressive to me even in defeat.

I can't wait until they are rid of Quinn. The team is going nowhere with him. i question if he’s the right fit but you know whose contract is up this year? Here is the problem with Quinn, they hired a guy with a track record for coaching kids. Despite the Rangers youth, they need a coach who can coach men. The smoking gun here is they were better without him.

John Tortorella Do you think NY would give him another go? I don't know. I can't argue with his results when you give him talent, and his teams always work hard as hell, but he's a rough ride.

John Tortorella He is a coach that some of these kids MIGHT need to play for. Someone that is a real POS in practice, but pushes you to do your best and give it your all.... Or else he will roast you to the media after kicking your ass after practice. He isnt a coach for everyone but he might be able to help 'trim the fat' Im torn....

Find a Jon Cooper type or something as i'm not sure this coach is the answer.
