I liked him for a few games and wasn't too upset they didn't keep him.
Was surprised to see him still playing and great for him to develop enough to be the leading tackler on the Browns..

I remember he had 18 tackles against the Cowboys and everyone wanted to enshrine him into Canton. He’s not a bad player, more of a down hill linebacker. Just don’t put him into coverage, guy has issues staying with his shadow.
Good for him. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

I'm not sure about his coverage ability in 2020 but if you know then I can only go on that. Maybe Martinez and his new diet training program would transform Goodson into a better coverage player also..

And we all know, Gettleman hates those type of players. Unless, your name is Tomlinson, Gallman Jr or Engram. Martinez diet must be that of legends. Seems to get talked about more than it should. Imagine all he did is cut out beer and chips? The Goodson story is nice though. I thought he would certainly find his way out of the league. And now, he’s off to Kansas City to play another day.

Goodson seemed pretty good from what I remember, seemed like a good tackler. He made some good plays last night vs. the Steelers. It's hard to evaluate the Giants players from the last few years. Our coaching was so bad and they might not have used the players the right ways to maximize what they're good at.

I liked Goodson. Was a heck of a tackler. My guess is he would do really well behind this DL of ours. At least in run stuffing. His downfall was his inability to cover, which was a major issue for this team for several years.

A great diet and training plan is for legends so you are more correct then you are acting like right now.

His profile coming out of college was dead on from what I remember. Downhill player, can hit like a ton of bricks, and struggles in coverage.

He also had a pretty forgettable year in Green Bay which I forgot about. Good for him, was a good tackler. Hope he has more success in Cleveland.

Which is not a good fit for Goodson, BJ needs to stick to 4-3 defenses that let him roam around and hit people. When he has to take lineman on he gets engulfed, he’s not exactly a big linebacker at only 6’1”

Remember when we let Romeo Okwara walk and now he's the best defensive player on the Lions

Remember when we let Romeo Okwara walk and now he's the best defensive player on the Lions Don’t get me started.. We all saw he had talent, he just needed the reps to fine tune his craft. He quietly had a 10 sack season last year. We didn’t even trade him, we gave him away.

He could not cover the ground with snow if he were a blizzard . He was that bad in pass protection.

I loved Goodson for decking Ezekiel Elliott the first time we played him. He didn't do much of note after that.
