2/3rds of the big 3 from 2004 are now hanging them up. That leaves Big Ben.
In fact, I think Matt Schaub retired too recently. So 3 of the 4 QBs have retired.
Big Ben could be out very soon too after that last playoff game.

Great career, will he in HoF even without ring. I think his weakness was the deep ball. For bigger QB didn't have the zip on it, also lacked the accuracy and trajectory for deep connections too.

Good for him. Nice career, never had much luck in the postseason.

He had an excellent career, and matured immensely from the way he acted his first few years in the league. He should be very proud of it.

I knew nothing about Rivers before the Giants drafted him. Once they did and ESPN began showing clips of him I cringed when I saw that throwing motion.
I heard a teammate of his today say he came up with a name for it which is perfect. Horrocious.

Rivers is definitely a HOF. All 3 of the QB's of that class deserve to be in the Hall. Ben should hang it up also for the first time he really looked old in this last playoff. Rivers is 2nd in consecutive games for a QB to Farve. Not sure of exact number somewhere around 230 I believe.
In 2013 played in a playoff game vs N.E. on one leg 6 days after surgery. Grit. Badge of Honor tough. 6th all time in TD passes, 7th in passing yardage I believe. The 3 QB's are all time 6th, 7th, and 8th in TD passes and passing yardage.
Rivers is going to become a high school coach. He deserves all the good that comes his way.

That is unheard of. I think he has half the number of probowls as Eli. He had some very good years. 2009 he lead the NFL in passing yards.
