What a disgrace to watch. Clearly the NFL got their way today. You have to feel terrible for Rodgers.

I watched most of the game and didn't think the refs were that bad. What did I miss?

Rodgers had his chances. They did not take advantage of mistakes. Exactly my thoughts. They had 3 chances to take the lead after they cut it to 28-23 and only came away with a field goal. You can't leave it in the refs hands to end the game.

Both arguments here are true.
Rodgers had his chances but did not do enough. There was some blatant pi not called by tb defence though.
Then brady gets the Ball in the end of 4th quarter and on critical play the reffs suddenly remember the pi rule and call it.
I would argue even today Rodgers was the better qb in the game but came short.
Hope bills or kansas sack the shit out of brady and retire him before th sb ends so the reffs and league cant win the game for him.

Im actually very confident they beat tb in a few weeks with a healthy Mahomes. Don't feel the same way about the bills and I'm actually pulling for the bills to win it all. That city desperately needs it considering what happened to them in the early 90s.

The refs blew it mid game in a close game. Several PIs not called against Tampa that hurt the Packers, including the INT that led to a TD. That said, it sucks but Rodgers had a chance to run it in for the TD on 3rd down. Also, the offense was stopped after back to back Brady INTs for 3 and outs. Bucs defense is legit. Also, LeFluer is dumb for not going for it on 4th down, down 8 with 2 min left.
Go AFC team.

Rodgers had his chances. They did not take advantage of mistakes. The bad Officiating didn't help but to me the Packers defense was pretty bad, not super bowl quality . they didn't make one damn play all day outside of throw ups by brady that they picked off and tipped balls that they got. Then for Laflure to remotely think they could stop them and give the ball back to Rodgers is just ****ing stupid SMDH

What a disgrace to watch. Clearly the NFL got their way today. You have to feel terrible for Rodgers. How did the NFL get their way? The Packers are way a bigger draw than the Bucs, even with Brady on their team. Also, the Packers are one of our biggest rivals outside of the division historically. Why even root for them? Sometimes, just sometimes, the better team just wins the game.

Remember when Bill Levy and his crew tried hard as hell to keep the Packers in our playoff game against them in the 2011 season? Remember the phantom roughing the passer call on Osi and missed fumble on that kickoff? Packers fans and people who root for them should NEVER, EVER complain about them getting the short end of the stick when it comes to the refs (unless you bring up the Fail Mary against Seattle with those replacement refs).

A Packers and Chiefs Super Bowl would have brought the NFL back in full circle since that was the matchup of Super Bowl 1.

Rodgers could have run it in but made a poor decision to force a throw into Adams. No ref involved there. I honestly think the refs weren't terrible and for the most part, the combination of the Bucs defense and the Packers failing to capitalize on opportunities in the second half determined this game.

Brady now 9-0 in his last 9 games vs Mike Pettine defences.

I feel terrible for Rodgers as much as I feel bad for stepping on an ant. Phenomenal player, but **** him.. Two straight NFC Championship games and he walks off on the losing end. Someone take out the smallest violin, we have to fine tune it for Rodgers and Packer fans.

Brady is the Goat. Will accept zero arguments going forward.
I thought Rodgers wouldnt be leaving Green Bay until 2022 but it looks very possible ARod will be playing for a new team come September.
I'll never forget the report that Mark Murphy said to Rodgers "dont be the problem" in regards to the hiring of LaFleur. Whether thats true or not, Rodgers can easily pin the loss on the HC for his decision to kick the FG.

essentially throughout the game, they let the secondary play. Failed to call a number of pretty blatant PI/Defensive Holds on the Bucs, then when the game was on the line, the called one on the Pack. It was the right call on the Pack, mind you, people were more unhappy about letting the Bucs get away with it.

Well they were letting both sides play. And on that one they called was pretty blatant. The defender had the Jersey in one hand, and then actually SWITCHED it to his other hand and continued to pull on it. Deserved to get called, IMO.

They may have "let them play" up until then, but I don't recall seeing any blatant jersey grabbing that wasn't flagged before the one called on GB.

The first TB pick was essentially the exact same play. That’s the problem with letting them play. When you do decide to call something you have no record of consistency to look to. It comes off as completely arbitrary because, well it is.

No more legit than the Tampa DB grabbing the jersey and using the leverage to spin the WR out of the way and pick the ball off. But that was early in the game, as much as it sucks because the game is more enjoyable when the refs let them play....letting them play never actually works. Eventually someone has to make a call as the game gets tighter and when he/she does, it is going to reveal the inconsistency.
