With so much cap room in 21/22 i have no idea why he can’t make it work. Draft a pass rusher at #1 and have the kid come off the corner. Losing any Dlineman i think is another step back. They’ll be 6-10 again. I have to see the numbers with our cap. One day we’re way under the cap, the next we are only a few million under. I have this fool on mute so I'll answer directly to you If we extend Bradberry and Zeitler 2 extra years we move like 20 million down the road and it's converted to bonus money..(more later) Cutting Solder (June 1st )saves us 10 million Tate is an instant cut Right there we now have 45 million this year if it's the worst case scenario We have 100 million starting in 2022 before we do anything Cutting Solder and Tate we get more which is offset a little by the 2 extensions so we have still 100 million starting in 2022 Also having all that room staring in 2022,if we have to delete Zeitler early (or one of our guards take his spot)uts an easy absorb of dead money So that's more than enough for William and Tomlinson And get 1 major FA signing which I would use on a vet pass rusher .. He'll we could even extend Peppers (his contract would start 2022 ) So that leaves the draft to get us weapons (we need to double dip at WR...one of tbe big 3 at 11 and maybe a guy like Bateman,Marshall or Coxie day 2... bigger but still highly athletic modern WR...)

You have to go minimum this year and backload the contracts starting in year two which is 21/22.

So, instead of all trying to become the Chiefs on offense, silly in concept...should we not design a team to... stop them? Chiefs lacking their talent on OL, especially at tackle was evident ...with a gimpy toed Mahomes, not a good combo against that defensive speed on Tampa. Defense won that championship - that and a been there, done that Brady. That game was a death trap for KC because of the injuries to their line .... And nothing that could be done Watching the highlights Mahomes had his secondary recievers wide open all day so the offense functioned as it should have if they didn't have Remmers and a practice squad tackle starting as Hill was occupying a major segment of the Bucs defense deep. The Bucs were able to dominate with 4 guys because of this... So you have 2 modern new age speed linebackers running around freely all game and the bucs were able to play 5 d backs all game It is what it is because injuries are part of the NFL,its the other team's job to exploit...and the Bucs did on a huge scale I'm not going to use this game as a template for how to stop the Chiefs because it was a perfect storm with what happened to KC with their line. I want to see a team do this to them witb their line healthy before we come up with a "oh..that's how you beat them " because in the past only rushing 4 and playing a soft box against them they would gladly run it down you'd throat all game (see Super Bowl last year and what they did to Buffalo on Monday Night this year ) What every team needs to take out of this is how to figure out how to have even functional back ups on the o line..especially tackle,in the salary cap era, that can even hold their own .... Good luck with that

This guy brought a winning mentality to tampa bay and everything clicked for them at the right time. No way in hell Jameis Winston leads this team to a title and Winston imo isn't a bad qb.

The way he was calling and changing the play, the route tree at the line (like I said earlier Arians runs the same system he has been in New England,Erheart/Perkins..albeit the vertical Gilbride style so he knew all the route numbers and such ,just had to adjust to the group of players he had and what they ran the best as he was used to mostly shifty slot types and he has a bunch of bigger alpha male types here) How that offense was adjusting by the minute to what KC was doing What's wild is that Leftowich came into the league I think after Brady had 3 super bowl wins already and is now his direct coach, and seems more like a collaborative situation of both having input to what the gameplan is and playcalliing

Tampa Bays D won them that game. Especially the secondary that played lights out.. It was almost a reply of the 1990 SB win for the Giants when the famous BB defensive gameplan was :"Concede the run". Had a feeling that the Bucs might win but man that was a beatdown. Game was over by halftime and the 2nd half they put it on cruise control

A few notes about the Chiefs which get lost in the fantasy fury
Since Nov 8th the Chiefs went 8-1.
- out of those 8 wins they won by a total of 27 points. - their one loss was a meaning less loss by 17 to the Chargers.
Playoffs - Cleveland had a TD lost on a touchback which likely was the difference in that game. A crazy 3rd down and gutsy 4th down call to end it, Chiefs win by 5 - Buffalo’s Allen looked awful. But, a better Chiefs win - Tampa destroyed. Call it what you like, that regular season game could have gone either way
Meanwhile, the Bucs go into Wash, cold Green Bay and win this one.
Bucs were the more physical team and even at full throttle the Chiefs (like the 07 Pats) had shown many signs of vulnerability.

I've been saying it for 3 weeks now. Bucs D was SB legit. Showed again tonight. Get me defense. And what about moving the ball, scoring 27 or so points a game and making your defenses job easier ? Bucs had a top offense as well and put up 31,should have been 34-38 Give me tbe well balanced team on both sides of tbe ball that can have a top 5 offense and defense and can win any game, any style that's in front of them, have tbe offensive firepower to be able to come back from deficits ,tbe ability to run it down teams throats when said firepower forces the defense to have to defend tbe entire field.. A defense that can morph and dominate at the point of attack and cause 3rd and longs, turnovers The Bucs had a complete team all over Give me that

Ignore him It's easy to take away your deep threat when you are abusing 2 backup OTs to the point every time Mahomes drops back he is running for his life. Chiefs had secondary underneath guys open quickly all night had he even had a little time to go through his reads, which is what the Chiefs usually do ) Hill did his job, make the defense defend the entire field to allow everything else underneath It's a hard watch seeing these 2 tackles humiliated every play like this Yea that dude is bugging. Hes acting like Hill has never been stopped or contained before. The difference without a doubt his Mahomes having no time in the pocket. Its really not rocket science. The Chiefs didn’t end the season so strongly. Outscoring opponents by 27 since Carolina and not including the season finale. The Browns playoff game wasn’t too hot either was it? Chiefs weren’t playing as well despite the record. Look at how many penalties they had in the Bowl? Lining up offsides on a FG attempt resulting in a 1st down, multiple PI calls, an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. They even dropped passes and we’ve seen Mahomes run around and launch the ball for TD’s for a few years now. Meanwhile, look at the quotes from the Bucs players on what they learned and how they played their defense after getting torched by Hill in game 1. This is same Bucs team which went into Green Bay and won.

That's how they won a SB. Yes, their offense looked great in the SB as well. Their OL wasn't letting KC near Brady most the game. While KC OL was atrocious. That front 7 for TB is nasty.

He also was suspended for cheating. Lol Still think that he is a system QB? lol I think the Patriots system did help him big time through the years and he thrived under it, but system QB? No. And never thought he was only a system QB like an Alex Smith or something. The system is pretty similar in Tampa that he was playing in NE. (Gronk is back!) System is always important. Brady is brilliant under center. He is a great QB, still. His drive is unmatched. He is playing like he is 29. Having a phenomenal team around him helps, but you cant take away how he got there again. But he was suspended for cheating. My take away in this game was this, Bucs defense was amazing yet again. They shut down the Saints, Packers and Chiefs offenses. KCs OL was an obvious failure. Thats the worst they have played since, probably Mahomes was drafted there. Losing their OTs hurt big time and it showed. I also dont think Mahomes is 100%. Buccaneers front 7 on defense was amazing, and their OL protected Brady all game. That was the difference IMO. What a beat down.
