These tributes bring me closer to the man I met as a young kid. I know I've said it before but he was a great ambassador for the Giants. I can't tell you (well actually I probably could) how many times my dad would come home with signed Giants memorabilia from him.
I remember my dad telling me how they would go out for beer after work and talk about the last game. Rosie would ask my dad if he saw a specific block that he made, and my dad would bust him about him always rolling around on the ground. Now that we've had a chance to see clips of him playing, we can see he enjoyed taking out guys legs.

No, he was just a customer and then they became friends.
