Goes to show you how far he has fallen off. Not very often a franchise releases a player of his stature who’s only 31 years old.
I know the popular choice will be to go to Pittsburgh and play with his brothers. I wouldn’t count out any other top teams in the league. He still has gas left in the tank, and at this point of his career you would think he wants to win.

I think he could help a team like.... The Bucs. Brady just attracts guys who want a ring. Seems like a fit.

if the money is right I think JJ will go to a team he thinks has a chance to be in contention next year, he has the money to wait for the right opportunity...

True. This is the same franchise that traded DeAndre Hopkins. the Hopkins trade is what started this whole decline for the Texans and cost the head coach his job and now with the release of JJ Watt I think the Texans are going to wander in the wilderness of the NFL for as long as it takes to fix a mess like this. This whole thing just goes to show you how important it is to really do your homework BEFORE you make a decision..

I would imagine if O'Brien had this whole thing to do over again he would have done it all differently but in life you usually don't get a do over..

O'Brien sure did crap his pants on this one, I wonder if he had to make that same decision again would he do it differently. Bill showed a very big ego here in Houston with the fans and the media and I think it was his downfall ..

If we could pick him up at a discount (or at least under market value) then it would be worth a shot. He could be a part time rotational player in certain packages. Would definitely help out the secondary

I read he could sign before FA begins because he was released as opposed to his contract expiring. Would be cool to see some signings like this happen between now and the start of Free Agency.
