John Brown and Emmanuel Sanders cut today. Surely more cuts to come.
I'm starting to think that the Giants will be looking more at bargain veteran WR additions in this-type category then in the Golladay/Davis category now that they have franchised Williams.
Add a bargain vet or 2 and draft a stud (or 2).
I'm thinking that if we make a big splash in FA, it will be at edge rusher.

Yeah Nothing like a big slow lumbering slug that can't get seperation... This will be Grandpa Gettlemans one WR acquisition because it fits his prehistoric ways and say he fixed our group.

There is gonna be a lot of talent at all positions in the second tier of free agency this year WRs and lots interior OLs. chiefs and Raiders just cut half their OLs .

I have a feeling tomorrow is going to go down as black Friday . I have an hunch the flood gate is going to open. There are 13 teams with under 10mm in cap space.

Don't want to get stuck 2-3 years with these type guys. I would think the #11 pick has to be the stud receiver. Possibly another strong WR or TE prospect as well would be just fine with me.

Gettleman would have a lot of enablers in the Giants building(Chris Mara) on that. The “Giants Way” is all about size and strength. They love “big” football players....for better or worse

It's the George Young prehistoric old school Giants way. This offseason tells me who is running this ship ... I hope I'm wrong

But yeah..size even if it means plodding Going back to the 90s when the rest of the league was getting faster and George Young and Boisture kept the team in the stone age

But yeah..size even if it means plodding Going back to the 90s when the rest of the league was getting faster and George Young and Boisture kept the team in the stone age Reese was definitely more “modern” but still Giants Way. You see it with linemen more than anything. It is no coincidence they consistently drafted DTs high. Big linemen. Length on the edges, size in the middle. If you think OL...Ereck Flowers #1 trait? Size. Probably part of why they didnt draft Donald. Donald was “undersized” for a DT ...to be fair several teams thought that about Donald. But still went a little out of the box with OBJ as he’s not a big guy...but as we know Giants nailed their eval on OBJ. I think Reese had the right idea about most things. But he whiffed too many times in succession and things got away from him.

I wish Reese's talent as a GM matched the size of his ego then maybe we wouldn't be stuck where we are right now..
