They also lost WR DaeSean Hamilton yesterday as well to an ACL. The union has F theses players with the premise of protecting them. They are workingout with their own trainers outside of the teams umbrella. Because of that. The team can choose not to pay them if "Non-football injured"

NFLPA: "Dont practice with your team!! Show solidarity!! If we are all lazy then it wont single any one out!! Its for your 'safety' !!"
Players: "Damn I got hurt working out on my own"
NFLPA: "Well don't let your team **** you over. Good luck and your dues are late. Pay them before you are cut from your roster....thanks"

Reading the comments on that article and have to agree with a lot of them. The NFLPA is probably one of the weaker unions out there.

Possibly a max threshold as well

Reading the comments on that article and have to agree with a lot of them. The NFLPA is probably one of the weaker unions out there. They’re a joke. You’re only as strong as your members. The players are just as much to blame as the union representatives. The NFL should take notes on Major Leagues Baseball’s union. They get what the players want, and if the owners even try to puff out their chest on them. They won’t hesitate to strike. The NFL Union is a doormat for the owners to wipe their feet on.

The NFLPA seems like garden variety political organization. They represent the top 10% everyone else can fight for scraps.
