Hmmmm. In terms of what would be best for the team, I would rank these breakout candidates as follows: 1. Jones 2. Thomas 3. Ojulari 4. McKinney 5. Slayton

I voted other.
Saquan Barkley breakout year...
How does 2.5k rushing/Rec yards sound for a breakout? 18-22 Tds.
Just because he’s had some decent years already, people think we’ve seen his best...
Barkley is the next Saquan Barkley, by the times he’s done he’ll be top 5 all time RB 😘

It better be Jones, but I'm guessing McKinney.

Jones of course needs to step up for anything to work. Andrews plays like he did at Georgia. The last 5-6 games last year Andrews played like we hoped he did. He's going to be a locomotive this season.
On defense McKinney and Ojulari are going to add so much more talent to an already tough defense. Our secondary could actually be the best in the league. This is no rah rah stuff if Ojulari and LW can lead a decent pass rush turnovers and coverage are going to be the norm not the exception.
We'll see what Slayton does healthy. He might be coming off the bench as the 4th WR.

But as a 3 or lower he’s amazing value

Jones needs to be the one, but I voted for Azeez, he's in a position to get a ton of playing time, and has some great potential as a pass rusher, something we desperately need.

Jones is the obvious choice. McKinney isn't even the starter yet, although he is super talented and should be plenty of reps. Andrew Thomas, I think, will be a stud but that means no one will talk about him. OL don't "break out". Darius Slayton is about to get buried in a suddenly very deep receiver room. Ojulari would be my second choice. Rookie pass rushers don't typically blow it up though. If he gets 6 sacks that would be fantastic, just not "break out" worthy.

For many reasons, I think Slayton is in store for a good year.
A dark horse pick could be Pettis. If he breaks out that likely means others went down with injuries, which would suck, but I think he's got the talent to be a player. I've said in the past he reminds me of Domenik Hixon from back in the day. Both players seemed to make something happen with the ball in their hands, but injuries always seemed to derail them.

The fact we have so many to debate bodes well for this team Even if only half this list (which includes Jones leading it)break out this is a division winner

We need to be debating how soon, and how much we are going to be paying Daniel Jones after this year .... he's the only breakout player that needs to

Jones has to be a break out player. I'll go with the olineman as a close 2nd..

I think Slayton is a legit deep threat and I believe the pieces added allow us to play him to his strengths. With KG sliding the coverage and consuming much of the defenses attention, Slayton would have the luxury of lining up against the CB2 or CB3....maybe even CB4 depending on the package. A healthy Barkley would also keep defenses honest. With Jones having a solid deep ball, I can see us striking quick with a few timely play action bombs. Maybe even on the first play/series of the season. I don't expect eye popping numbers, but I expect to be content with the idea of KG, KT, and Slayton being our top-3 WR's going into 2022.

When we signed Ross and Golladay. He moved down to. #4 or #5. There is no way with Shep's on the field production he is going to sit. If the coach and the FO felt Slaton was a #3 .Ross would not have been signed

I see Slayton as the odd man out this season.. If the receivers stay healthy then when do you play Slayton unless they only use KT in special packages a few times a game..

Golladay, Toney and Shepard are playing regardless of what fans think of Slayton. He’s a 5th round pick who played like one last year. And who’s playing special teams? Normally, a 4th receiver has to play specials. Especially, on a Joe Judge team.

Jones wouldnt be breaking out since his rookie season was good. The oline is a big ? Id say it will be Mckinney imo.

Yup even with the additions Spepard is probably still the best route runner on this team he is a tough cover one on one now he will be drawing teams 2nd and 3rd corners, as a possession WR he is one of the better ones.

I'm hoping Jason Garret is the breakout person with this team, his play calling left a lot to be desired last year...

I'm hoping Jason Garret is the breakout person with this team, his play calling left a lot to be desired last year... overall I thought it was pretty good tbh. The thing I hated is when we got in the red zone and then he would call TD or bust plays like reverses, double passes etc. he always went away from what got us down there on the drive 🤦♂️
