Consultant.
The one guy on our team who wanted to move on from Eli while he was dead weight and trade up to draft Mahomes.
He was a terrible HC but he gets a bad rep here. Especially considering he took us to the playoffs at 11-5 one of his years.

I love this.
If the Cowboys can put McAdoo in a QB room with Rogers, Rodgers will succeed and McAdoo will be declared a genius again.
Otherwise, this is a brilliant development for us.

It all went wrong for Mac when he changed his hair. He could twirl a whistle on a lanyard with the best of them. Otherwise, a very ordinary guy.

McCarthy and his retread coaches is getting tiresome for this Cowboy fan. How long do you think Jerry is going to give him? My feeling is that if he doesn't have a great season this year, his seat is hot.

Hired by the cowgirls as a consultant LOL L that dude is clueless shurmur should be in the HOF when compared to that man I don't think he was clueless. He was overmatched for the job at the time, but he knows football. The Giants needed a real HC, he wasn't one. But I think he's capable and can add some real value in the right role.

McAdoo sounded old school to me...from the coal mines...when I played pee wee and high school ball the coaches would insult us if we didn't perform at a high level. Can't do that in the NFL these days..Coughlin found out in Jacksonville that it's hard to be a tough coach and executive these days. I heard McAdoo didn't have the locker room part down and the players didn't like him. Judge is definitely more of a salesman/CEO, I like him but would like to see a winning season before I anoint him as the next great coach.

When one ridiculous anecdote is the best we can say about someone’s tenure, it’s time to stop searching the cesspool for compliments. McAdoo MMQBing that draft is as weak as Ross doing so. “Yeah, I meant to draft Tom Brady too but they wouldn’t let me”. C’mon man!.

It’s hard to buy a theory that McAdoo was a too tough old school coach when his players openly mocked and then defied him. That just doesn’t wash. And as unpopular as the theory is, I’m in the camp that says he revived no one’s career and hurt not helped Mannings’. The complete dearth of trench talent was the primary reason for the collapse of the team. But if we layer on top of that the idea that the HC who is supposed to be the CEO of the team reportedly says that acquiring Mahomes was a good idea demonstrates just how overmatched he was. It’d be like buying a Bentley with a plan to park it on the street in Queens.

He couldn't lead and he lost the team before he lost the fan base. He was trying to fit square pegs into round holes. He was this generations Ray Handley. He sucked. Aaron Rogers saved his bacon not every QB can play like Rogers. Dak coming off injury do they want those roll outs ? I would think Dak has orders no option to run, even out of bounds. Not the first half of year anyway I would think. I would think Dallas would go quick release in 3 seconds and out with majority of quick hitters to save Dak from hits. We tried it with Eli they're receiving might be a little better than ours was. It should work with their terrific receiving corp a lot better.

My feeling is that if he doesn't have a great season this year, his seat is hot. Agreed. But Ol' Bugger has some faults and one is being too patient and loyal to his folks. Look at how long he sat on Garrett and his tired ways. Jerrah's got to be great to work for. Accountability is not that important. JJ get's a lot of flack especially with enemy fans who don't really know him and just read what their team's writers say, or what ESPN says, or Bleacher Report or whatever national service that pops up with a Cowboy story. 95% is negative. Reading between the lines though most of sports media is East Coast guys and sure they are gonna hate on ANYTHING Cowboy as they have built in biases. Similar to the Zeke Elliott thread on here which is a whole lot of who-ha over nothing (it'll be a civil case with a midemeanor charge). But since it's Zeke/Cowboys it's like he's a mass murderer . . . NY bias! I've gotten so used to it. It's more like 8th grade school girl gossip notes that real rational thinking/reporting.
