Ryan is the type of player you need and want on your roster. Counter balances the dopes and players that feel entitled. We have a couple of players like him. Martinez, Peppers, Solder. no doubt.

This is this getting as old as the comments the Mike's like to make when something surprisingly works out.. He's great as the GM if you dismiss them being the worse team in the league under his watch.. Just saying.. lol Just as old as you acting like he is the worst GM ever any time a move doesn't work out, as if the other GMs in the league have a 100% success rate. Call good moves good and bad moves bad. His current record is proof he has been the worse GM ever.. No dispute there! I've called out the good moves and draft picks but they are being outweighed by the bad ones since wins are what matter.. Nice try Mike..

I'm not sure guys. Plenty of people here said Dave Gettleman is a moron for signing a guy that the Titans didn't even want to resign and no other team signed only 10 days before the season. LMAO. I don’t remember a single person saying that. People thought it was another shitty desperation signing

The Giants were short players in the secondary and they were lucky all the other teams didn't see him as worth his asking price.. I still don't and we will see how long he last on the team..

I don’t remember a single person saying that. People thought it was another shitty desperation signing It might have been the best and only option left at that point but that doesn't make it any less successful. This team was crap for four years before Getty got here. This is Gettys 4th year he's going into. This team is so much stronger than when he got here. We have talent finally on both sides of the ball. There is daylight at the end of the tunnel. We see progress, we had to replace most starters in both units. Getty did have misses but he also had more hits than misses in not only replacing players but upgrading most positions. Lets face it we had a helluva rebuild to do.

Reminded me of the Sam Madison signing, but without the ring so far. So far. Sam Madison was the man.

LOL OK, But we have a chance of improvement this year where we as Giant fans can realistically have expectations better than 4-12. This year I honestly have hope. If not a playoff spot at least a 8-9 or 9-8 record at the low end. With next years expectations even better with what our 2023 draft looks like. I'm very hopeful.

LOL I do find it even more refreshing all this hope you have for a season 2 years a way in 2023.. YEAH!! I've put up with enough of this terrible football so if leveraging the future cap this year doesn't result in a playoff spot then I would expect some changes and I'm expecting these changes to occur so I'll will be pleasantly surprised if they make the playoffs..

OK, I'm not arguing that we've all had enough of terrible football. I think were all on board with that. I am optimistic about this year though. Don't know what our record will be but I do think the Giants are going to be a competitive team which is more than I expected the last few years. Last year with a weaker team and glaring flaws and we were still improving as crappy as we were. This year we addressed so many weak positions and hopefully turned them into strengths. Last year my honest feeling was 4-5 wins, I wasn't happy but it is what I thought going into the season. And I do think we are going to be even stronger in 23 than in 22. This year we learn to win and make the playoffs I hope.

So you are going to just skip the 2022 season where I'm expecting them to be stronger than this years team while expecting them to be even strong in 2023 like you are predicting..

And yes I think they will even be a better team in 23. Thats the goal to be better every year. Nobody is skipping 22, damn looking forward to it with optimism.

Agreed And you know well why I have been down on him but with a caveat he did an old school complete tear down ans try to rebuild in a cap era where kts much harder to because od dead money risk. This to me is do or die for him,the team is as close to being rebuild everywhere as it's going to be Another sub 500 record and he has to be flushed

And yeah I wasn't a fan of Ryan originally as I thought he would be moved outside where he couldn't play anymore 100% wrong...seems he is the heart and soul of that defense ...especially the secondary

Yea had a rough couple days. Thanks I mean't 2021. I hope things get better for you! GO GIANTS!! Thanks LT, Haven't had much sleep the last 2-3 days. Have been fighting to keep our little 5 year old Maltese alive after having a series of seizures the last few weeks. He didn't make it. He fought so hard his name was Jesse. Went back and forth to a Veterinary emergency hospital at least 4 times, stayed there a couple times, had a veterinary neural surgeon. My wife was so careful with his meds and so punctual. The day Jesse died her eye sight came back into her right eye after 4years. Doctor said it was a miracle. My wife says it was Jesse's goodbye gift to her. So uncanny I don't know what to believe.. Dog was so gentle and happy right to the end, he went blind the last couple weeks, 6 lbs strong and that was only because of the steroids they gave him. He was a warrior right to the end. Sorry I went off a little here, I am just so melancholy. Talking to you guys is my release. Sorry to dump this here.
