Jones and the OL are critical factors. Jones being the biggest factor of course.

If they can't get open it does not matter how well the OL blocks or Jones reads the field. No OL can block forever.
If you judge this team in a bubble, not thinking about how bad we have sucked for the last few (bunch) of years; then there is no reason to not think we can be good. The biggest knock on us is we are young and inexperienced. I personally worry about injuries more than anything. All of our key offensive players have struggled with injuries in their careers.
Good pole question. How many games will we have this year with Jones, Barkley, Shep, Engram and Golladay all dressed for the game?

Isn't saying much...
We challenged for the NFC East title this past year with a terrible team.

All of us here know that if the Giants don't challenge for the division, something went horribly wrong, people are getting fired and others will be on their last leg. The NFCE is a joke. Anything but a division title is a disappointing season in my eyes.

Anything but a division title is a disappointing season in my eyes. I actually think this division will be much better this year than last year. The Skins have a killer D which will make them compete. The Cowboys have a great offense which will let them compete with anyone. The Eagles....well they kind of suck still. And we should be much better.

Going by our by position group cap distribution this year. We are in line with what 11+ win teams have done with their cap spending. In order to achieve that 11 wins we need to at minimum score 2.13 points per drive and not allow more than 1.68 points per drive on Defense.

j/k However if we don't win the division after all that was done during the offseason, then the reset button has to be hit, again

Journalism as become a lost art. Now, we have every Tom, Dick, and Harry think they can write an article. Speaking of Daniel Jones. “If he takes a major leap forward in Year 3, the Giants are in great shape and could compete for the division crown.” No kidding? Next thing you’ll tell me is, the Giants weren’t a good team last year in part to scoring less than the opponents.

Jones and the OL are critical factors. Jones being the biggest factor of course. incorrect imo , the oline is the biggest factor on how well jones does . we know he likes to throw med-deep , is accurate on his throws and looks past the sticks on 3rd downs .

I get the OL and the QB share a symbiotic relationship but Jones' main flaw(s) are on him alone.
