Starts after his option year this year so it's from 2022
Yikes that's a lot for a RT...but I guess the definition between RT and LT is now officially a myth when it comes to getting paid

If the guy can play both positions it's a valuable thing.. Yes, teams are looking for protection on both sides. Good point. Imagine if they were not, and played without a right tackle...versatility is also a nice thing. Those short armed tackles with dancing feet make wonderful blockers, going from Tackle, inside to guard, and back out to tackle if need be. What do think about passing on Slater, and his versatility?

I really liked Slater, would have been fine had be picked him instead of trading down. I also like the pick of WR with the trade down. KT's behavior so far has raised some eyebrows, but his college film looks really good, and I'm hoping that once they get to training camp, he'll get serious.

the president of the US makes about $400,000 a year, kind of makes you wonder what people really think is important....

Thing is if your paying a QB 100+ million then19 million on a right tackle is market value in the World of the NFL. All apologies, but this is wrong BIG RED. Thing is, a QB is making 100 PLUS million as you are referring to, is on a multiyear contract...and you compared it to a single year of a right tackle, Ryan Ramczyk, at 19 million. Ryan Ramczyk has a contract, multi year worth up to 96 million...nearly 100 million. So in essence, you are not comparing apple pie to apple pie....as in a yearly salary vs yearly salary, or entire contract value vs entire contract value. Guaranteed money is of course an unknown in your 100 PLUS million for a QB, while Ramczyk is a guarantee at $60 million.

I get your point but you don't want to get political over here.. not getting political because I'm not a very political person, I just think its a little amusing what the sports people think is important...
