Mike Weber was a pretty darn good RB at Ohio State.
SB is apparently put together with spit.

Could just be that there looking to just add depth and possibly see who's after Devontae Booker on the depth chart.

I honestly liked Armstead Modern bowling ball type that had explosive play ability, ran tough and was really good out of the backfield
Wonder where he hooked up with....if he was still out there if I were him I'd be at ths Rams facility begging because he could be a gem there

If we have to depend on him, we’re screwed.. No one said we needed to depend on him. Its perfectly fine to add players that have potential. This player has yet to have a chance or prove himself in the NFL. I didn't say he was a solid player as I don't know what his value is, at least not yet. But the concept of finding solid players lends itself to evaluating and adding which is fundamental to this game. You brought up "his mother"... that's interesting were you not breastfed? It creates a quite calm in the neurological system and reduces anxiety.

Barkley isn't playing in the preseason or practicing so they need the extra cannon fodder.

I’m sure you’ve heard that starters play a significant amount of snaps in the 3rd preseason game. Or were you asleep during that lesson? No wonder the art of tackling has been so impressive over the years. They hit each other..

In the last preseason, Schurmur held him out of the final 3 games. In 2018 he had 5 total carries in preseason. I doubt he'll play this year either. Hopefully he's cleared for practice soon, that's what prepares players for the season. Preseason games are the last thing he should worry about.

Barkley’s rookie year wasn’t coming off a major injury. He hasn’t been hit in 10 months. I know everyone took what Gettleman said to heart with the “touched by the hand of God” nonsense. But, not participating in contact for almost a year is an eternity in the NFL. He needs practice, and lots of it..

I'm glad to see they signed another RB. Personally I thought it was a major need for depth purposes. Thought they could use more competition too.
Personally I would've just stuck with Gallnan. Loved his angry running style. I mean it's all about the OL. And I'm sure Booker will do well.

Saquon Barkley, Devontae Booker, Corey Clement, Gary Brightwell, Taquan Mizzell, Elijhaa Penny and Sandro Platzgummer.
And Nick Weber.
I wish Platzgummer was a real candidate. Awesome freaking name.

Given the health situation of Barkley, and the injury history of Booker, the team would be wise to try and ensure they have a serviceable 3rd option at RB.
Don't want to go back to having Elijah Penny leading the backfield in carries.
