Means nothing about Barkley Camp body witb a little possible upside to absorb carries in the preseason My initial reaction to this move was the same but after some consideration, I don't know. Don't the Giants already have a bunch of camp bodies on the roster? Also, the Giants must of known that Barkley wasn't going to be really active in camp or very effective in the beginning of the season. Recently some stories come out about Barkley and then this? This is either a reaction to some new news or a coincidence. Teams usually make moves when new information becomes available. This could be one of those situations. I guess we will see but if real bad news came out, there probably would be a bigger signing than Mike Weber....

They couldn't sign a camp back until they put Barkley on PUP If Barkley was a concern they would have kept Armstead They also put another camp RB on IR as well (some guy who they claimed off waivers from the Bears in January)

You're probably right but we will know for sure if the Giants make additional moves at the position. The Giants will make a bigger move than Mike Weber if Barkley has a medical set back.
