Yea that looks like the deal. Rogers can decide where he finishes his career.

that;s awesome. I could really care less about the Packers or Rogers to be honest, but I really want them to sweep the Bears this year, and Rogers makes that much more likely.

I could see him going to the 49ers for some reason to finish his career.
That said, if DJ flops this year, Id go all in for AR in 2022. He is still a great QB.

This prima donna can blow up a team and locker room in a NY minute. He's 38 years old. Whats he coming for next year at 39 for 1 or 2 years ? I would think the 49ers would be perfect for him. Thats the area in Cal. he comes from isn't it ? But they just drafted the young QB Trey Lance. I think this marriage missed it's window once the 49ers drafted the QB. Hope he goes to the AFC, he'll get lost over there with all the good young QB's. Mahomes, Jackson, Allen, and whoever else emerges this year.

Aaron Rogers needs to finish his career with a team that is already a finished product and just needs a solid QB..

Maybe the Rams after Stafford in 2021?

Hmm...well that gives us options for 2022 Yowzie.. the DJ fanboys will have a conniption fit if that scenario comes to fruition..The silver lining in that there will be a new GM making those decisions

The major issue would be the bidding war.. Besides possibly us these teams would also be in the mix Washington Philly Carolina Detroit Houston Denver For a short term type situation me might not be in tbe best cap situation Id still rather give up both our 1sts for Wilson if we had to go tbis route...we could massage the cap hit witb an extension if we had to

If he is, Texans will demand a royal ransom for him and I don't think we can afford it.

I wanted to share this with everyone the other day but got distracted. On the NFL channel Rogers was apparently interviewed and made some sort of reference that before the draft the 49ers made a trade offer to G.B. for him. Apparently a hefty offer that of course was refused by G.B. and the 49ers went on to draft Lance at QB.
Didn't see it heard the talking heads talking about it. I hadn't heard it before thats all just FYI. Not surprising as a lot of us said S.F. was the perfect landing spot for him but a major rival for the Packers to win the NFC this season. It would have been nuts for the Pack to deal with S.F.
