I decided to take a little R&R type of trip to the Poconos this week. Left Atlanta on a 11 hour trip which went well.... until I stopped at a local Wawa. The customer service was great, I was in & out no problem. I got to the car, opened my bag to grab my drink... when I seen the most terrifying shit I have ever laid eyes on . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 😱😱😱 No question or concerns about my Fandom, she just tosses this grapefruit size turd in my bag, smh Never coming back here again

Pennsylvania is Eagles or Steelers country depending on where you are.

HaHa Gunner just circle the 2 Giant games buy a marker and circle a big "W for the Giants" next to those games. And give it to a Eagles fan.

I have a love/hate relationship with WaWa(the best convincence store out there) Love Coke freestyle machine (can get a large sparkling water on tap Probably the best deli type stop not being in a deli area (NY)and healthy options Taatykake (then now made the cookie dough jr a regular item)
Hate Tastykake (see above ...trying to stay in shape)
They do have them in NJ and all over Florida

Wawas are fantastic. Better than all the competition. Their HQ is just outside Philly so you can expect that bias. It would be interesting to see if people visiting a WaWa in FL or NJ are getting schedules for the local teams.

I also live in the Poconos. MY friends that are Eagles fans aren't bad at all about it. 4 SB's to 1 is all they need to be reminded of. Lowest prices for gas I've ever found in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, PA) are some Wawa's in NJ.

The Poconos are closer to the Meadowlands than Philadelphia depending on where you are....also loaded with transplanted NY'ers and NJ'ers so there are plenty of Big Blue fans up there

I fill up there any time through.

Should have gone to a Sheetz. Besides having a weird cool name. The food is great (better than Wawa) located mostly in Steelers country, more selection and a kick-ass beer cave.. You will find some G-men fans scattered amongst the Steelers

Its sickening I've always thought I 195 was the line between Eagles and Giants country I spent this past weekend in South Brunswick for work (thus being able to finally see some NY baseball)nothing but blue there and hype for the upcoming Giants season

There was always a major Cowhumper presence all over Jersey ..seems to have dwindled a lot since 2013 (the last time I spent a significant amount of time in Central Jersey) This tells me indeed its true that Jerruh has lost multiple generations of frontrunner fans and the cockroaches have stopped breeding....which is even more telling with how bad the Giants have been since then

The further south the more green it isI get it........Much of NJ is closer to Philthy than NYC still sucks They don't even televise the Giants in south Jersey. As I found out one Sunday while visiting my brother, I live down here. So the rule goes as follows…If the Eagles are a 1pm game on Fox, they are televised and if the Giants game is on at 4pm, it is not. Instead you will see Eagles Wrap Up because that is the way Fox local is. Otherwise you will see Game of The Week which is Fox syndicated. Now, if the Giants are 4pm and Eagles don’t play at 1pm, then Fox local will broadcast whoever plays at 1pm AND the Giants at 4. If the Eagles are playing the AFC and are playing on CBS, then Fox will screw you and not televise the Giants if they are on the same time….forcing you to watch the local shitbirds. However, if the Eagles play prime time Sun or Mon, then the local networks will show you everything because the 2nd local market is NY. If the Giants suck, they will turn the game off in the middle of the broadcast and take you to a game that has a closer score, especially one that has playoff implications. If the Giants suck all season, right around week 6 or 7 they will stop showing us all together and broadcast someone else. I have this shit down to a science, I’ve suffered down here with this crap my whole life.

They haven’t tasted the same since right before the sale of the factory. I don’t eat it anymore.

Try living north of Long Island. Connecticut is pretty mixed but I'm right on the border of Mass and this is like living on the front lines of a war zone. I imagine it's similar to living on the Mason Dixon line in 1861...with less musket fire.

The sports stores at Smithhaven Mall would only have Rodney Hampton jerseys for us and like 7 cowhumper players ....

Being from northern NJ I never used the convenience stores for anything other than slurpees etc. Never food except for chips and stuff. Sandwiches were always from a local deli. Diners and pizza places filled in the rest for casual dining. Still dont use Wawa type stores for anything other than coffee. If I am out of state I try to find a sandwich shop. Harder and harder to find local town delis tho.

WAWA has the best food when it come to those place's. Their subs and sandwiches beat all the others ,good soups I might add. Might I add the stores themselves just seem nicer. Freestyle Coke machine is what really seperates them Now Royal Farms? By far the best friend chicken (blows.awwy even the venerable Popeyes)

Bimbo is a Mexican knock-off of Tastycake with major operations in the philly area. Its not bad

By far the best friend chicken (blows.awwy even the venerable Popeyes) If you are really trying to stay health then don't go to Royal Farms! They are known for their fried..stuff..Essentially a southern version of Wawa..As for Sheetz (love the name) its more country/heartland style and the food is very fresh. They will custom make any sub for you and they have a whole bunch of self-serve type machines. Was at one in Lancaster a few weeks ago and I could swear they have a freestyle ice cream machine, in addition to thier sodas machines, slurpies, yogurt, fried cholesterol etc..Biggest humans I have ever seen waddles into that place, so you know the food is good.. Since I value my body I avoid the beer cave and mini-wine bar but I'm impressed nonetheless
