Link isn't posting
But unless he becomes ambidextrous while he was out this is a bit of an issue

Mods: am I allowed to start a Deshaun Watson to Dallas thread? From the post I saw this at it is a "minor" situation.... With that said if I'm Houston I'm asking 2 1st round picks,a 2nd and Cee Dee Lamb in return

Mods: am I allowed to start a Deshaun Watson to Dallas thread? Dallas can't afford another $40M QB so don't risk chipping your new nails and messing up that manicure typing out that thread.

And that too...(especially if nobody knows if/when he will play this year) 80 million for 2 qbs that don't play (FWIW Methinks the shoulder issue is more precaution but its out there)isn't the most ideal way to build a roster

This is nothing. A sore shoulder, so what ? It's camp fodder to talk about. Headlines galore I'm sure. I'm sure the NFL channel will spend 15 hours on this.
Overblown nonsense

As a Cowboy fan my only concern is for Dak to get his timing down with his receivers. But, Cooper is out (again) , not practicing and on the PUP list. Gallup has an ankle injury after having to flip a fence on an endzone route and held out of practice. Luckily the Cowboys have a wealth of receivers. Backup QB is much more worrisome . But as ThatGuyRich says it is a bunch of nothing (I'll add probably).

Dangerous to have a fence so close to the end zone I thought the same when I saw the video. Just dumb ! Something tells me that fence is probably moved now. On a more broad thought the Cowboys go to Cali for the weather. Landry's Cowboys went there from 1963 until 1989. Although the 1990's Cowboys stayed in Texas the Texas summers are pretty brutal. Oxnard, Cali has been the destination for the last 15 years or so. I hear the mid morning temps are in the low to mid 70's. Less heat fatigue should equal better learning/practice environment. Reports on Dallas' defense sound encouraging.

Have you changed your mind yet as far as paying Cooper when you had both Lamb and Jefferson in your lap and letting Byron Jones walk?( and let Guyton go and still have Wilson ?)

Have you changed your mind yet as far as paying Cooper when you had both Lamb and Jefferson in your lap and letting Byron Jones walk?( and let Guyton go and still have Wilson ?) I like Cooper as a player. I don't like ANY WR for $20M a year but management let themselves get in a bad way in the 2018 season by going in with only rookie 3rd rounder Gallup as their #1. Dumb ! Coop saved the season IMO. Was he worth the big contract? I'm not the GM but don't like it. He had higher offers than Dallas gave and he chose to stay. He is a known quality whereas Lamb and Jefferson were essentially unknown. Of course both look to be stars. My complaints with Cooper are chronic foot issues. I think he is very talented and a great team member. Without considering the money he's a strong asset. I would have let Jones walk too for $15M. 2 int's in 5 years starting. In hindsight it would have been nice to have him on one side and Diggs on the other this year and it hurts to see a player that your team developed leave. I'm not sweating it though. We have what looks like 2 awesome rookies in camp now at CB. Time will tell. Teams must rely on a certain amount of rookie contract roster spots (especially with a $40M QB although he's only counting $22M for 2021). I think they may part with Cooper next year and try to keep Gallup (contract year) for less money. Letting Guyton go was a camp decision on an UDFA. Wilson probably had other stronger skills (he's a very good blocker). As it is he(Guyton) only had 500 yards in 16 games in 2020. Wilson is looking very good along with Noah Brown in camp and both have been around a while without starting several years. Like I say the Cows have wealth at WR (big change from 2018). Check out Simi Fehoko(6'4") and also my pet cat TJ Vasher(6'6"). Vasher will be lucky to stick . Dallas has also gone taller and longer at CB too. Looks like maybe some philosophical changes.
