www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/giants-john-ross-injured-at-practice/Giants' John Ross: Injured at practice Ross grabbed at his upper leg during a seven-on-seven rep and was immediately tended to by the Giants' training staff. The speedster then spent the rest of practice off to the side, watching teammates. Ross has endured a number of injuries in his NFL career, including a foot issue that limited him to just three games in 2020. Less than a week remains before August 14's preseason contest against the Jets. Not good Not good at all.

I'm telling you we should have traded him for OL depth last week.

Ok, who had him at 10 minutes before he got injured? I would say I’m pulling for the kid, but he may pull a hammy in doing so..

Eh, it sounds like it’s just a hamstring. Probably only keep him out for the rest of his Giants career.

I think it is minor or he would not have been on the sidelines.

Hoping it's minor. It's part of the game, but I still hate to see young players careers get completely derailed by injuries like this.

He better hope this is minor, Ross wasn't exactly tearing it up in camp. I've seen his name mentioned twice, and this was one of them.

I just want to see the fastest man in the NFL wearing blue catching touchdowns. Is that too much to ask for?

Why is this a shocker to anyone? The entire reason we got him was due to his extensive injury history. The Giants are starting to remind me of the Cowboys by getting “discounts” from players with injury history. It usually doesn’t work out well.

Feel bad about Ross was hoping for a big input to our offense from him. I still am. But he just can't stay on the field, it's so frustrating. I did start to hear how good he looked the last couple of days and then pop. Now we have to wait and see. Damn he just can't seem to put a season together.
OK lets heel this thing and start over again. Hate giving up on this talent. He could help us so much.

Door might have opened up a crack or so for Pettis depending on the severity of Rosses injury I'm rooting for him to get back hopefully.

If not for his injury history we probably never get a chance to sign him and certainly not for this little bit of money. From the moment we signed him it was a "this would be nice" not a "OMG we need him". But seriously we need someone to play WR.

I get what you're saying but their is a major difference between between taking a low risk flyer on a vet and spending high draft picks on risky players. Ross only has a guaranteed Salary of $1M.

He might be our Jacob deGrom. Wait what?? deGrom pitches a couple games, then has to sit out a few turns in the rotation with a sore arm. He's been out 3 weeks now Ross can play a game here and there.... sit out when he's sore and then grace us with his presence when he's OK.

And Degrom is also one of if not the best pitcher in MLB with a proven track record (2 Cy Youngs) etc. Ross has done what exactly? Just a bad analogy
