All I have is optimism for this year's O-line group......and health with any group is a concern. Sure you can knock DG for not drafting an OL this year but to say he hasn't made moves to improve the depth or group overall is patently false.....they've made a shitload of moves on the OL.....not all if any are going to work out. What's absolutely hysterical are the posters/fans/writers that are surprised by the ups and downs of Thomas, Lemieux, Peart and Gates last season......that's 3 rookies and a first year center.....essentially all first year players who rolled into the season without training camp or the pre-season AND their O-line coach got canned midseason......yet they're getting crushed for their lack of consistency. ****ing comical....... They have made a shitload of terrible moves for this oline.. At least there is "consistency" in that area!

I don't understand fans who complain that we didn't draft any offensive linemen, while also complaining that the line is too young.

I agree......but if you're insinuating that's what I said I clearly did not. I love that they have an o-line and expect the growing pains.....certainly not complaining about them.

I was just adding to what you were saying.

What’s comical is having one semi legitimate veteran starter, 3 rookies and a veteran starter who would be a back up on most teams 3 years after DG said it was his first priority. No one cares how many moves they’ve made if none of them work out, trying doesn’t get you brownie points, winning does and so far they’ve failed miserably.

Thats step one. Moves have to made if they do or do not work out is part of the process. Fans care about the moves of they don't work because thats all we piss an moan about!! The moves that didn't work or shouldn't have been made. Some on here still crying about the Barkley draft!!.... So yeah.......there are no brownie points but all things start with moves and decisions. You guys get pissed enough for me. Now that I am older I can sit back wait to get angry....lol

Some fans just want to keep on drafting olinemen early in the draft and to pour a ton of jack into them via FA every single year. They act like the Giants haven't already done that. Oh wait, they have. IMO, it is way better to just let these guys grow together and become more cohesive. The Giants have tried to improve the oline for years, so anyone that questions their effort haven't really been paying attention.

The thing with the NYGs is they are counting on 4 2nd and 3rd yr OLmen to do it at the same time. But it is what it is and I am excited for this group to get it done
