www.si.com/nfl/giants/gm-report/giants-waive-defensive-lineman-r-j-mcintoshMcIntosh was the 139th overall pick in the draft, out of Miami (Florida), where, in three seasons for the Hurricanes, he recorded 103 total tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and nine passes defensed. His NFL career got off to a rocky start as he began his rookie campaign on the nonfootball injury list with an undisclosed condition. McIntosh would then appear in six games for the Giants that season, recording five tackles and one quarterback hit over those games. I feel bad for him . I was pulling for this kid .

Think with the limited amount of time he had on the field it hurt him. Guess he is not a fit in Grahams defense I was hoping he would get a shot at one of the DE spots in the odd front or at least be in the rotation. He'll get picked up.

Giants have UDFA Raymond Johnson ( DE ) , the guy has excellent size and a chisel body. I had read his ( BBV ) bio , I think he will replace Mc In tosh or at least make the PS.

Players like McIntosh are depth and easily replaced as far as production.
Not dissing the kid at all its just the reality. I wish him well

Thats something that rarely happened in the past a player cut by the Giants gets another shot with another NFL franchise

RJ was a Solid Player At The U
Best of luck to him with the Saints! Our Front 7 is Loaded with talent though. As already Mentioned, Raymond Johnson III is likely a guy they already see way more Upside, Talent and Potential in. I know I will be keeping at eye out on #91 during this Preseason
