This will be by position until the end of training camp. No time-frame,post will be random.
Ok so great battle so far at WR. It is very early to predict this position but our situation is unique. 4 receivers are already entrenched into a roster spot(Shep, KG, Toney, Slay). That leaves what, 2 spots open for the remaining 8 guys competing? (Yes)
That 8 man group consists of Sills, John Ross, CJ Board, Austin Mack, Dante Pettis, Alex Bachman, Matt Cole & Damien Willis.
Competition has been crazy good with everyone having an opportunity to showcase their specific talents. I'm impressed by Sills and his tenacity to become great. Ross' speed is as advertised & Board continues to quietly move the chains. This group is where the competition is in my opinion.
As long as Ross' injury doesn't flare up to where he's missing weeks I believe he makes this team and to round it out, CJ Board. Yes, CJ Board. He can play both inside and out with speed for both. Special teams plays a big role as well as he can play multiple spots across specials.
Final Prediction:
1. Kenny Golladay 2. Sterling Shepard 3. Darius Slayton 4. Kadrious Toney 5. John Ross 6. CJ Board

Sills is way ahead of Ross, who has done absolutely nothing in camp and is now out. Ross will need a miracle to make the team at this point.

But he had Slayton above Toney. To me it is just a list of the 6 he would keep.

So he must have impressed some coach along the way. All the receivers have gotten first team reps with Golloday out. But David Sills has been making plays left and right in practice. Ross's best chance is at KR, but that all depends on how fast he gets back to practice and stays there. I think they keep 6, so we'll see.

I'm not sure where you have seen training camp reports but since camp opened, I've seen Ross praised almost every practice from reporters on Twitter. I dont believe Sills is way ahead of Ross but hopefully we find out more tomorrow.

I've seen Ross's name mentioned once all summer when he took that pass down the field in drills last week. But again, you can't compete on the sidelines.

Yea and they are working him in as a returner also Ross if he can get healthy has the inside track, like Sills a lot wether it is here or else where I think he is gonna help someone.

Ross had 2 big days in camp and was singled out on the Giants web site as one of the best players in camp that day twice. Then he got hurt. I think Ross has a great chance to make this team mike, and I would think he's our 5th WR if I were grading our WR's.

CJ Board Gunner I think you might have convinced me about C.J. Board it makes sense if he's good on ST's. I was thinking Pettis and Sills would make this squad or the practice squad. I was thinking 7 WR's and 3 TE's and 4 RB's. But maybe your right if we carry 6 WR's if we carry a FB (Penny).

We should keep the WR who can run 6 yard routes the best because that is all the time DJ will have.
Alternately we should keep the WR who can block downfield when Jones gets chased out of the pocket.

Yeah…that’s prob it.
I can’t remember…but what happened to Cody Core. Did the Giants release him after injury? Did he retire? He was fantastic on special teams.

after the top 4 it doesnt matter too much. Players to fill in.
Jones will be throwing a ton to the RBs ad TEs as well.

Alternately we should keep the WR who can block downfield when Jones gets chased out of the pocket. 2 Burners, 2 slots, 2 big wideouts and maybe Board or Pettis for specials. That seems to make the most sense. So - Slayton and Ross, Shep and Toney, Golladay and Sills and Board or Pettis.

That's 7..what Ed did on BBV Honestly unless someone explodes at TE we only have 3 TEs worthy of a roster spot Even our backs....Barkley,Booker,Morris or Clements..we have the same rules as last year so maybe stash Morris and Brightwell on PS... WE probably have 7 WRs that deserve a spot as of now..(what a change from last year when we only had 3 NFL caliber WRs and one was fading into Oblivion in Tate ..)
