Oh, I forgot to mention, the LT is the JPP of LTs and will start his career on the right side until Solder's contract is up.

I don’t like the QBs coming out at all. Will watch as season progresses definitely something to watch. Also the teams in the WB market that # has dwindled. Browns, Jets, Cardinals, Bills have all addressed QB so even if we pick 3-4-5 there is a chance the top QB is still available. Bills look like a 1-15 or 0-16 team they won’t take a QB. After them I think it’s between us, Bears, Raiders to be in that 2-4 window.

Best player available. I can't say where we'll be picking or who will be available, but usually the value is high for OT/DL early in the first round. Whichever position we get I'd like it to be the top player available at that position. I don't want to pick 9th and get the 3rd best lineman. I have a feeling we wanted Brandon Scherff in 2015 but Washington scooped him up 4 picks before us and we had to settle for the second best OT in Ereck Flowers.

There is no consensus 1. I like Drew Lock of Missouri from the little I’ve seen if him. Auburn QB is rated high and I’ve never been a fan. Jake Fromm looks really good, but he can’t declare until 2020 hard to plan to be bad for years to come. They’d really need to address nothing this offseason to still be at top of draft in 2020. I guess they could try Lauletta next year and if he’s awful it gets them a top pick and if he succeeds then we found a Qb. I’m hoping we see Lauletta beginning game 5 if we start 0-4 however. |

Trade back, pick up an additional first round pick in 2020. Draft passrusher, Tackle, Free Safety, or Center. Use the additional 2020 1st round pick to move up and grab Tua.

I think the kid with development can be as good or better then Mariota. He's got the smarts and makes reads and can change the play in a split second and make a defense pay for a mistake. His movement in the pocket is just incredible to watch |

Oh and I would not classify him as a runner but he is a dual threat QB whonvan get out of trouble and make you pay with his legs if needed

I guess your not a Bama fan lol. Everyone that watched this kid when he got into games all of last year wanted him in over Hurts way before the 2nd half of the title game. Amazing how he moves around in the pocket and reads defenses Have you see any of the three games he's played in this year?? He's a very smart player and will make a defense pay for any mistakes they make. Puts the ball on the money on long or short routes. Can get out of trouble to extend plays |

His movement in the pocket is just incredible to watch Only thing that worries me about him is his size. I had the same knock on Mayfield but Tua is an Island Boy + EWA BEACH breeds them tough. Im pulling hardcore for this guy. He can make reads, manipulate the D with his eyes, incredibly accurate. I dont think he can be as scrappy on the run like he is in College because he'll get his head knocked off in the NFL but he can definitely excel in the pocket. |

Drew Lock has all the tools, fun to watch...too bad there will be a few teams needing a QB as in every year, thus we had better finish dead last or have a package of picks to move up.
Too bad we already traded away our 3rd rounder....

So no, I'm not that impressed by his play against a bunch of unranked teams.

I don't believe there will be a QB worth it at 1 next year. We need a new QB but I'd trade back. May change my opinion after watching more college games.

I don't think we need a QB now it the QB prospects are not good. 2020 looks better with Fromm/Eason/Tua coming out.
Draft OL, draft a pass rusher, draft LB/DB.
I understand the frustration here, I understand the knee jerk to last night - but you cannot draft on a knee jerk.

We are the joke of the NFL right now. Put the top 5 pick in pencil lads.
Drew Lock has a Favre about him. Tough kid but boy can be sling it. He's legit. But protecting him, or whoever, now that's the issue. Kid from Auburn, not a fan really and Herbert from Oregon goes alright, good athlete but he could be a Paxton Lynch aswell.
Best prospect has got to be Nick Bosa. Kid can do it all and if is as good as his older brother, he's 100% worth taking because our pass rush, what pass rush? Dosen't exist at the moment (I know OV is missing)
"Building the trenches" mantra ain't on the right track Dave. The only quarterback getting harrassed is our own, and he can't react to it either.

You obviously Don't watch college football much do You? If the draft were today and he was eligible he would be the number 1 pick in the draft. As I stated earlier, I watch plenty of college football, usally it's only SEC, and as I explained earlier ALSO....you're judging a guy based on his performances against scrubs.
Georgia is the only ranked team he's ever beat. So I'll wait for Bama to play the good teams and I'll tell you he's good then.
Truthfully, I have 7 or 8 QBs ahead of Tua Tagovailoa

Not going to be a good year for QB's but of course every year they hype a QB to go #1
I like Justin Herbert from Oregon but not #1 over talents like Ed Oliver or Nick Bosa
