he had COVID and exerting himself in glorified practices will only stunt his body’s recovery process…he will 100% suit up on opening day but usage will depend on gameplan, which I expect (especially til Barkley takes on a full workload) KT to be heavily involved in the run/screen game. Don’t be surprised at all with Him being lined up in the backfield, including wild cat formations at “QB” I don’t think he’s made it through a single full practice at camp, though. I think it’s optimistic (wildly?) that he will be heavily involved with anything on week 1. Same with Golladay and Barkley. I think what we saw yesterday will be what we see in the 12th, minus some tinkering on the OL and the always famous “non-vanilla” playbook. I don’t think the giants are playing chess with those pieces. No smoke screens or cat and mouse strategy. They aren’t 100% physically ready and haven’t practiced together. Hard to see how it won’t be a slow start. I’m not burning my gear yet, either. They’ll rehab and get integrated. I just hope it’s fast and the defense/st have carried us to a few wins. they’ve worked together plenty…just cuz u haven’t seen it, doesn’t mean he’s been watching practice…also I never said heavy usage week 1, I said he’ll suit up and be used according to game plan…if he’s killing them on the ground/on simple patterns like screens, why wouldn’t he get adequate snaps?

He’s not? So what, did his other nut drop? he had COVID and exerting himself in glorified practices will only stunt his body’s recovery process…he will 100% suit up on opening day but usage will depend on gameplan, which I expect (especially til Barkley takes on a full workload) KT to be heavily involved in the run/screen game. Don’t be surprised at all with Him being lined up in the backfield, including wild cat formations at “QB” This is all speculation. The Giants have been hush about Toney for weeks now. He also cleared Covid protocol, so no one knows for certain what the hell is going on with this kid. Since he was drafted, he has participated in two practices. One of them was the famous missing shoe. Not exactly encouraging for a player who is behind the curve with learning basic NFL route running.

I read it somewhere but can't seem to find it. I'm not Bs'n but it fits with this scenario. Let me try to dig it up.

He’s not injured enough to keep him from playing 2. He understands football extremely well and will have no problem getting the playbook down/assignments on hot reads etc 3. The kid has vision that can’t be taught and will be one of all of our favorite players, due to his impact in the return game and his ability to make explosive plays out of nothing. Call it whatever you’d like but sometimes people know things that others don’t

No one knows what is going on with Toney, if they did. It would be accessible. Judge and the Giants have locked it down for anyone outside the building with their 1st round rookie. Unless, you’re best buds with Judge, you’re going off hunch. How can you say he’s not injured? When so far he has only participated in two practices. Are the Giants saving him for the playoff push? He’s so far behind that he’s going to need to light a flare to be found. I’m not questioning his talent, that too has yet to be seen where it matters. However, when teams are quiet about a player for undisclosed reasons. Something, isn’t right.
