O-line has me really worried and it could be a messy start bc they don't look ready, but they did improve throughout the year last season, so there's a chance, but o-line needs to get better, and Jones has to be more consistent for this team to have any sort of chance. Defense should be fine. Litterally had all tbe systems of an offense that really needed to get some snaps together from top to bottom... I'm hoping they got the rust off a little.....

The O line is awful, Daniel Jones should go to the CFL and you can plan on a losing season, worse than you thought and think about moving up in the draft for next year and getting a QB. The interception in the end zone is disgraceful. If they're that awful they shouldn't have to move up.

Can we talk Rivers in to coming back? He'd be great behind a lousy OL.

I'm just going to chalk it up to a really bad game because up until tonight he was one of our most consistently solid linemen Now we are possibly with Slayton out.....there goes our speed outside especially if Ross is cut Slayton was awful today and he hasn't had a good summer. I think Board is a better WR. Thomas is concerning, I really think there's a strong possibility he’s replaced by Solder. You can't be that bad and just turn it around by opening day. Slay was bad today no doubt but I'm not ready to jump ship with him... There is legit talent there. But since he hurt his ankle last year he seems to have stopped progressing. I don't think Board is better- not yet- but I could see Slay getting lost in the shuffle if there ever is anything close to our full complement of WR's Thomas is a different story. Preseason or no, he just plain looks shaky out there no matter who he is up against and at this point in time does not inspire much confidence... Solder coming back might end up being way more important than would have been hoped for

Slayton is standing out less and less. There’s no way he beats Board out as it stands right now. No way do they sit Board out this season.

If so then DJ, DG and Garrett all will all be OUT
I really hope that is not the case, I think our Defense will keep us in most games for sure

Daniel Jones had 4 incomplete passes and a gorgeous TD throw with an int too. I couldn't watch live...what am I missing here? Looked like Thomas struggled.

The INT was not a tipped pass or a hap hazard event it was a blatant mental error. Deep in the red zone he was running right and throwing across his body into thick traffic instead of running it or throwing it away. If these kinds of mental errors keep occurring in each game the Giants will keep losing.

Thomas had garbage Guards next to him tonight and I felt his struggles tonight were in part related to bad efforts by whoever was lined up next to him. Two nice drives in first half when it mattered slightly. 1 gorgeous TD to Kaden before half. The Jones INT came at the one yard line but the play call was horrid. Designed roll out to his right cutting off half the field. Hate that play. My least favorite of all play calls you can make at the 1 yard line.

I saw a lot of good things in this game! our first team defense did really good Daniel Jones TD drive! at the half we were winning! Obviously the starters were pulled in the second half! Still though Glennon looked pretty good!

Sky is not falling, it is pre-season game, period, give the QB of the team you root for some optimistic credit because I believe he did some good work and I think he will be fine in the regular season WITH an SB Golladay and Toney which might just help some, right? Got to get Andrew Thomas right and quickly
DJ should not have thrown that ball agreed, I am sure he will hear about that one. STILL not time to panic let's play a game that counts then see what happens
EE had some nice catches and to me seems to be running smoothly with acceleration
Sills had some catches but also stopped and INT and Glennon missed him when he was wide open and that would have been a TD
D is only going to get better the INT by Martinez deep is a testament to his capability guy is an athlete!
Too much over reaction for what this was... IMO

It's not the end of the season, but the way the offense looked was certainly cause for concern, especially with the performance of the OL.
I know it wasn't a huge amount of mistakes out there, but most NFL games are decided by 1 score of less. So, it doesn't take a lot of mistakes to sink a season.
Thomas looked really bad out there today.

It is impossible to see a way this current Giant team can beat any other NFL……or SEC team. The offensive line is even worse than the dark days when that moron, Jerry Reese was GM. After this season, a new rebuild begins…….

its about what i thought all offseason about the oline , i was told judge had a plan.... Oline is fine in this game so far. Nothing overly concerning. Not sure what people are watching but whatever. Sarcasm I hope?

Well based on that small sample size…Jones’ pocket awareness has improved by 0%. That’s a problem. It’s only pre season, don’t worry about it. Garrett and Judge were running vanilla offenses, they’ll unleash the beast and let Jones loose in two weeks. The O line won’t have any problems against Denver, the Patriots were elite compared to Denvers D line. Rest easy fellow Giants fan.

I hope DJ has a life insurance policy, he’s going to need it and DJ looked like crap as well. Sure, DJ had nice flashes but the honeymoon period is over and he was still making rookie mistakes. Any internal optimism I had is just about gone. Still holding out hope that “it was just the pre season” but I’m running out of rope.

He’ll be fine, just a little hiccup, he needs a little more time time gel.

Lol. I’m extremely articulate, especially when I rant. Every fan should start the off-season and beginning of camp with a sense of excitement and possibility. I’m no exception. Right now, nothing is certain, but that excitement and energy now has to be earned throughout the season instead of just willingly given by default. My immediate, overly emotional, caught in the moment thoughts right now are I like our defense, but I actually feel bad for them.

They are not rookie mistakes they are just mistakes that he is making way too often. Most QBs want to make the big play and force it at times but he makes a habit out of it. Flashes dont make a career. He needs to pull his head out of his butt. Top that off with marginal OL play and there is zero room for error. Thats a big problem. The NYGs have almost no wiggle room.

Looked like Thomas struggled. shouldn’t be too knee jerk based on a preseason scrimmage although the OL should be competent. Closing in on the real games and let’s hope we’re not watching and recognize in QTR 1 opening day the OL is a jailbreak like we have on too many occasions. Again, the year of no excuses imo. They have to win 10.
